I was fortunate enough to get an inventory list of the materials used. With this list I priced the mufflers and tailpipes and found them to be marked-up 20-25%. This repair took 2 hrs. and cost close to $600. I'm guilty of not getting a price quote from another muffler shop and not having any idea of what the pricing was on the list of items used. I can't help but feel that I could of gotten this job done for a better price! As far as recommending this muffler shop, I'd shop around and see what the competition has to offer. When you get a free repair quote from melody muffler make sure that you get it in writing.

I had a problem with my car in that it would not take any gasoline when I tried to get a fill up on my practically empty tank. We drove across the street to Premium Lube. They immediately went to work trying to isolate the problem. After trying several different approaches they found the breather tube from the gas tank neck was kinked. They straightened it and we were.able to fill up and return to Portland from Pendleton. I highly recommend these great guys!
