Have been going there 15 years; Tom and his dad are very personable and treat people like friends. Very honest. If there is a wait for service, I think it's because they just can't say 'No' when they are already busy. I always leave my car for the day. ;)

I went there to be treated very poorly and I wouldn't recommend going there unless you want to get the stink eye from the people working there or when you leave for them to talk about you. I truly wouldn't recommend going there. I was taken care of by a girl named Hayley. She was more worried about her phone than me and when I tried to get her attention all i got was an attitude like she didn't even wanna bother helping me. And as i walked out she started talking about me and the customer right behind me that was entering turned right around and looked at me and said that is screwed up. I also got helped by a girl named Kim who was more worried about her boyfriend and would tell me to wait a minute so she can give her boyfriend a kiss. There was a lady that worked there I think her name was Terry. She was a manager, but seemed so oblivious about what was going and wouldnt even try and take control of anything. I got taken care of a couple times by 3 people that made my visit so pleasant. Their names where Amanda, Christian, and Crystal but I haven't seen them for a while and now I wont even go in unless they are working because i feel as though that i am gonna get treated like dirt like the last few times I have gone. There were customers that were there that would make it seem like they owned the place. This one customer gave me an attitude and when I tried to say something about it the guy was like you'll get kicked out before me man and the cashier even said so. I didn't appreciate the way I was treated and I feel as though this company needs an intervention.

I bring all my automotive work to Binks service station and I have always found their work to be exemplary and wouldn't consider taking my vehicle anywhere else. Billy and Joe are always professional and courteous and will explain in great detail what work will be required while addressing my automotive concerns. They always do their very best in regards to keeping expenses to a minimum and never once overcharged me for repairs. My family and myself are grateful for all their years of faithful service and I would just like to add that we didn't just find great mechanics,we found great friends and give them my highest recommendation.

They built a transmission for my son't 96 firebird. They shipped the transmission to the shop in Evansville, Mike's transmission to be put in his car. The tranny didn't have 1st gear. They have pciked up the bad transmission they sent out but have not sent a new one and have told us they don't know if they will cover expense until they look at the first one they sent. My son's car has been sitting at Mike's transmission for 7 weeks. My son works hard for his money as he is a young man still in school. As a parent it is hard to see your son get ripped off. I have seen other reviews where they have fixed problems in a timely manner but this is not timely and they are not doing right by their customer. I am so frustrated! I feel like I let my son down. After all the great reviews I am stumpped at this. My husband is furious and is calling them again today to check and see what is going on. I will post results. In my opinion my son should get the expense of removing the bad tranny and a discount or even payment of putting the correctly built one in as a token of apology for the aggravation. I understand things can go wrong and I am not mad at the first tranny not being made right just at the way it is being so poorly handled. I took my car in with a fouled spark plug and they told me I needed a new head gasket and quoted me almost $2000 for the job. Since then I have had three other mechanics examine the car and none of them can find any problem with the head gasket it only needed the spark plug and wire replaced and there has been no furtherproblems with my car

If i could give this place a lower rating i would. I took my car in for an alignment and after it was finished i was almost in an accident due to the terrible job. Its been 7 days since the alignment and now both my front tires which were almost new are completely worn and i have it back at another shop who is doing the correct work. This is an alignment shop and they attempted to align my vehicle knowing (they told me this) that my passenger side spindle was damaged. However they did not feel like getting new parts instead they just aligned it as close as they could get it and then told me it was safe to drive. They also slotted my brand new strut without my permission in attempts to align the vehicles. I now have to get two new tire, a new strut and a new alignment plus a new spindle which was all it initially needed. DO NOT GO HERE, they will only get your car in and out without actually fixing your problems
