Auto repair service near Woodsboro, TX

I made the unfortunate choice of having my 1985 K20 Chevrolet Pickup inspected at Rockport Minit Man Thursday 9/26/18. The manager Adam Montemayor was my inspector. He informed me I had failed due to the removal of the catalytic converter from the exhaust system. I explained that she was not manufactured with one due to the 8600 GVWR. He was not interested in discussing the facts and sent me on my way. Saturday 9/29/18 I returned with all the documentation to show why there is no "cat" required. Adam Montemayor denied having ever inspected my vehicle and would not discuss or look at what I had provided to show the vehicles requirement status for the "missing emissions component." The Vehicle Test Detail clearly shows the inspector name. I believe I have been jerked around a bit...I will avoid any service at this shop in the future ;)

My car began to drip oil on my garage floor after an oil change at Bee Quick Lube. I paid a real mechanic to find the problem. As I suspected, Bee Quick did not tighten the plug.

I came in for a simple brake job. I was told it wouldn't take long. I was there from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. My brakes are worse now than when I took it in. I am almost having to stop the car Flintstone style and this job was done yesterday. To top it off, they overcharged me for this horrible brake job. Don't go here. I am on my way to a real mechanic to see if they can correct the mess that Pride Automotive created.
