I needed a new timing belt on my old Subaru. I called the expert mechanic at the marina, and the canniest lady with a buck I knew. I asked both where they would take a job like this. They both said "Jerry Hill!" with enthusiasm. So I did, and I've been enthusiastic ever since. Expertise and Honesty aren't always offered (especially to single women) by auto repair shops, but you can find both in abundance here. Totally disgusting.

I have been taking my vehicles to dog and garage for close to 30 years as of about 7 months ago they are under new ownership but the service is still just as great as ever. The new owner Ryan picked me up and we went up to the beltway to get my truck that had been wrecked He charged me a fraction of the price of the tow truck bandits that had been called by the police. Even helped get the truck into a tricky position since I have a driveway with a sharp curve and drop offs have to be watched out for. I cannot say enough good things about this establishment.

On February 3rd 2016, I went to Burrels Automotive in Dahlgren, VA with brand new parts stated above purchased. They in return said they would just charge labor. So as I went with all new parts, (Brake pads, rotors, and calipers for both sides) The technician did the entire side on the passenger side, and proceeded to do the drivers side, but did the rotors, and brake pads, and put the old caliper back on new equipment which gave the same noise with new pads that were eaten on the inner side of the caliper, but according to the, ""MASTER TECHNICIAN"" was able to save it?! Why save it when you had a new one in the trunk, and was instructed to put all new equipment on the car?!
