The staff are friendly, the service is fast, and the prices are very reasonable! I have used South Main Auto for car maintenance needs for years, and have never been disappointed. If I need maintenance on my vehicle and must be on the other side of town within 15 minutes, the crew will gladly shuttle me to my destination for free, and get me back to the shop at my convenience to pick up my vehicle! Hands down I recommend South Main Auto!

Car sold was a lemon. Owner and mechanic said there was nothing wrong with it, that it was in great shape. Two weeks later, it started overheating. Had to add a gallon of radiator coolant every week. Finally just died, definitely the radiator, but something else is wrong too. The owner said he'd take it back at first, but it was up to the people who bought it to get it back there. Now, he will not take the car back and expects the rest of the money before handing over the title. Normally not a big deal, but when you sell a lemon, it is up to the seller to fix it. So the buyers are paying on a car that they can't drive. NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE OR HAVE YOUR CARS WORKED ON THERE. Obviously, the mechanics have no idea what they are doing either. SCAMS

I love Long Shop Auto. I've lived in Blacksburg for over a decade and tried a number of shops but now I'll only go to Long Shop. I found out about them about 6 years ago and other reviewers are right.....they do NOT inflate their prices like other places in town. It's well worth the drive to take your vehicle there. I had an estimate of $700+ for repairs at one place in town and instead had it repaired at Long Shop for less than $400. They've done more than half a dozen repairs for me and they are the only people I trust to give me a fair deal!

I've had the pleasure of working with Josh numerous times. He has tinted the windows on...5 cars of mine now. The work is exceptional, timely and always competitively priced. If you need any service these guys provide you couldn't make a better choice. I'll never go anywhere else.
