My pickups right rear window did not work. I told them it was more than just the window motor as all of the windows would not work at times. The appraisal to fix the motor was $500+ which is an unbelievable number for a $120 part. Also, after I looked into the problem, I found that there was a broken wire which provided a fault for the windows. This lead to a realization that the window motor wasn’t faulty at all and Matt’s was going to charge me for a problem that wasn’t even there. I understand the need to make money to run a business but after my recent experience with Matt’s it has left me with a great distaste for them as a repair shop. I went in for an oil change on my 2011 RAV4 with 25,000 miles. I was told I needed an emission tune up for ~ $200 because Toyota recommends it. After I had it done I found out it is Corwin's local recommendation not Toyota's. I was misled and received a service that was not only unnecessary but overpriced. Also they tried to sell me 4 new tires for >$700 because one was damaged and they said it could not be repaired. I took the tire to my tire center and they repaired it easily.
