We had an excellent experience with SST… We had an excellent experience with SST Performance. We had to take our nine year old Mazda Tribute back to the dealership because of a recall. As expected, they performed the recall work then (Surprise! Surprise!), found that we needed a $600+ repair to a leaky seal on our rear axle. We opted for a second opinion. We took the car to a local Honesdale mechanic who confirmed that we had a leak, but estimated the repair at closer to $300. In the end, he was unable to do the repair, but recommended Sal at SST Performance, "a good guy" and "a good mechanic". We got to SST late Friday afternoon on a holiday weekend. Sal set us up with the earliest appointment on Tuesday for an evaluation and ordered the part that day. By Thursday, we had the Tribute back at 1/3 the cost estimated by the dealership. Additionally, Sal went way above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that we had transportation to get the car to the shop and back without a second car. He's capable, friendly, flexible and helpful...a real professional. On top of that, as a former Marine, he and his wife also coordinate the local chapter of Toys for Tots. Bravo! We'll definitely be back and recommend you give SST a try.

I am Interested in a lower price tarus, even if I bring in my 98 ford tarus SL the engine dives like the day I bought it...I would like to bring it in for a possable trade in. ( except my Inspection is on hold, until the rocker panel gets fixed, along with other rusted areas.....Since last August my health has been getting worse...only use the car for doctors and hospital visits. It comes to 4 to 6 times a month..Even if no trade In, I'd love to see some Used Cars around the price range of $ 1100.00 to 1500.00 Hope tadein is worth a good amount. I live in waymart, and am 67 years old..It's hard to walk & breath...COPD But I feel 45 years Inside, and want to have my Independnce By having a Nice car to drive around, when I want to. i bought a car on a friday. by sunday the power steering pump was nearly empty, there was power steering fluid on the underside of the engine. i called them that moday and got put on with bill. he said it was not covered under the warranty. i asked if they would help me out since i only had it 48 hours and he refused. he said it was on me to get it looked at and repaired. they will not stand behind their cars and forget about service after the sale.
