purchaser of coachmen
I Purchased the Motorhome that Kristi refers to in her un professional manner , so to say.... Flew in from Delaware , Coach was plugged in A/c was ice cold , all lights where on and all systems a go ... The coach was as good as a new one inside and out...Absolutley no stains on the cushions carpet or seats ... We had coach inspected by licensed RV Tech,, After four hours he could not find a thing wrong with it .... Normally I don't write on these things ... But after seeing someone ask Dumb question like is that a stain on the cushion I was floored, Most people want to know about drive train, tires, transmission ect .. NOT A STAIN ON A CUSHION LOL... All I can say is I love these guys .... Been to Canada , with Rv and a few other places ... These guys Prices cant be beat nor can there service and professionalism..... Thanks

None, thank god!
BUYER BEWARE! These people sell on ebay under Gulfcoast RV LLC at the address of 10729 State Hwy 52 Hudson, FL 34669. (727) 375-3742 when you google the address this Tropical Rv is there. It shows there picture, a very small lot. Unprofessional RV Dealer see the email response between us below...it tells the story of how unprofessional this CAROL WALDRON is: Carol responded my questions on ebay auction with: non smoker as with all our units , no pets, sofas and dinette needs no cleaning at all furniture is like brand new , Of course title is clean only way you can sell a vehicle , Our business hours for deliveries is mon thru thursday 10 am till 3 pm ..... Tires seem good but As everyone knows anything can happen to tires So I will not speculate on that ... supersize pics for accurate viewing of entire coach... This is used coach not brand new by any means ... Thank you and happy Rvin I asked back: Can you send a better picture of the dinette bottom cushions...they sure do look discolored in the photos. Much appreciated...I am a serious buyer Carol Responds: They are not dirty thank you. If i have time thursday when im in office ill try to get pics I respond: Are you the owner of the business Carol? Carol responds: Yes I am , If there is anything I can help you with let me know or one of my sales associates... thank you I respond: OK, I will ask again.. > >> Can you send a better picture of the dinette bottom cushions...they sure do look discolored in the photos. >> Much appreciated...I am a serious buyer. Do you see in the picture what I am referring to?? I was hoping that you would have sent one today. Before Auction Ends! Carol then does not respond to me at all. Auction ends and RV did not sell.... I respond after auction: Fyi : You may sell something in the future if you would get off your ass and answer a few questions for your potential customers and do it without being an asshole. I had to

Purchased a motor home
Purchased an Airstream motor home in 2012 for $30,000. This was a once in a lifetime investment for me. Came to soon discover that Tropical RV had dried out a coach with serious leaks and put in new carpet because the old was mildewed and destroyed. That is OK but the problem they did not disclose was that the walls were rotten from long term leaks and the fiberglass skin was falling off. This is not an unusual delamination problem in the RV industry and often spells the death of a coach because of the cost to repair. Tropical RV knew about the problem and went to great lengths to cover it up. Anybody that has been taken like I was wonders why they were so stupid. Well fortunately you can trust most people but not these guys. BTW there were many, many other problems and outright lies. Please have any purchase checked out independently.

Sold us a camper with a bad AC unit
I will never buy a camper from these guys again!!! We've had soo many problems with our camper that we bought from them. THe biggest issue we had with them was our air conditioner. They sold us a camper with a bad AC unit. We drove all the way from Indiana and they were in such a hurry to leave for the weekend that they barely showed us anything. He turned the air on and said, "Well when its not that hot outside, these tend to not get very cold." Our camper mechanic said that was a line of BS!! I had Greg write it in our contract that they would fix our unit if it wasn't working properly. When we returned to Indiana, we put it in storage for the winter. Four months later we tried using the AC only to find out it wasn't working. I called them and they somehow tried saying it was our fault!!! REALLY??? And now they no longer answer my calls. It costs us $1000.00 to fix and they didn't have the courtesy of helping with any of the charges, even though they wrote it in our contract and told me to my face he would pay for it. Do not buy from these guys!!! THey don't stand behind their word!

purchase motorhome
Just writing to let everyone know what a great place this is to visit and or buy from. I have bought 6 Rvs/ travel trailers in last 20 years . My wife and I flew in from virginia to purchase a 2000 Monaco Windsor Diesel pusher we had seen advertised on Tropical rv inc Website . Much to our surprise the unit was in better shape then we where expecting. The unit was fully serviced upon our arrival. It was plugged in with all operating systems on. It also had a Dome seeking satellite which was not advertised. Joe and his elite crew took the time to show us how everything worked, They also gave us a new water and sewer hose. We have since put over 3000 miles on the unit and love it .... Thanks Joe . Will buy again

purchase of many Rvs
My name is Carol From Gulfcoast RV LLC, Normally I dont write on these Blogs ect. This time I have to write , I have been buying motor homes from Joe For past 10 years .... I Read this two bad articles about them last night .... These Two articles Have to be from two very very un educated people. Fact one If you buy a Rv that is over 10 years old. It will have things that do not work, There will also be COSMETIC FLAWS, and stuff that has wear and tear on it. They are much like boats , things will work today and not tommorrow. I was Actually shocked that people would expect To buy a RV and everything be brand new.... The people at Tropical rv inc On state road 52 are very knowledgable in all aspects of motorhomes and travel trailers, They sell high line units which are immaculate, and they sell units under $ 20,000.00 That will need work. If a unit does need work they will state in there ad that it needs cosmetic work , ect. As far as this Ted guy we all Know Ted he has been on our lot several times , We will not even sell to this alcoholic.... Most of the time he comes in Half drunk.... As far as the Lady Kristy we do not know her at all ... But she sounds like a woman that wanted a used coach to be brand new. Just wanted to state My peace and the facts of buying a used RV .. Thank you

Purchased RV
Went to Tropical Rv and purchased 1999 Gulfstream motorhome, Joe was very personable and full of knowledge... Ive had Rvs in the past But this gentleman knows his stuff , The crew there is one of the best Ive dealt with in my many years of purchasing RV s. I Have read these other two Reports and they must come from people with No Knowledge of buying a used product. They sold me a great coach at a great price , Of course some things may not work or be warn out But after all I did buy a coach over 10 years old. These guys are the best , I see Now why they are the number one wholesale dealer on the West coast....

Used RV Purchase
Do NOT purchase a RV from these crooks! They will lie to your face without their slimy hearts missing a beat. Their RVs are complete messes. Nothing works correctly. The generators jerk and sputter, the batteries, alternator and charging system is under-powered, the seals around the windows and roof-top air-conditioning units leak! There's no water pressure because the pump is clogged. The door locks don't work properly, the undercarriage compartments don't lock. If you do have a problem, they don't know you and will block your calls. You've been warned! If you step a foot on their property, god help you. I'm not kidding!!!

Used RV Purchase
After seeing an ad on craigslist, I went to the dealership to check out the unit. The ad clearly said that the unit HAD been gone through by certified RV technician. After getting there I began to go through the RV. Upon my inspection I found burned-out light bulbs, broke hatches, a leak in the bathroom, problems with the stairs, problems with the air conditioning and generator unit. This unit obviously had not been gone through by anybody. I called off the deal after they made me give them a deposit to inspect it, I guess "I" did there job for them. very misleading. Beware of this dealership.
