Siskiyou RV World
We purchased a tow hitch and had Siskiyou RV World install it. Every time we drove the car after they had wired it, it had a burning smell. We had to go to Washington (towing the car) we returned to Grants Pass to have them look into the burning smell but the service dept. was closed and we had to leave again. When we returned, we had started to Lake View when the car died. The wiring had melted. Record heat that day with a dog and no traffic to speak of. I had called a tow truck and the estimate was well over $525.00 that we couldn't afford. Hours of reading the manual and trying to start the car before a woman had stopped then sent her husband to help. With Sam's help taking my husband to Chiloquin, we were able to tow the car to Klamath Falls Lithia. From then on things just got worse. They cut and taped my wiring instead of putting it back to original factory wiring and told Siskiyou RV World that they are only responsible for $269.85, not even paying for the test then refused to itemized the bill for us. Siskiyou RV World refused to pay a dime to fix our car. No offer of rental car or reimburse anything, towing, fuel, repair bill. Let alone our vacation was completely ruined let alone what it did to my cars value and Car Facts. Do you know of anyone that would buy a car that had wiring problems and the evidence is still there of the mickey mouse patch job?
