Insurance RV collision repair
The facility has had our RV since July, the people were so nice in the beginning and stated how the work would done great. Ms. Wendy was so polite at first, that changed soon after. The first time we were told the RV was ready we went to pick it up and it looked like a amateur with no experience at all repairs the coach. When we brought it up that the repair didn't look right she immediately started getting rude, then the owner came out he stated oh it looks good to me. Long story short we left the RV for them to fix the issues, we went on vacation and came back, we received a call it was ready we went in and it looked worse than before it looked like someone painted over dirt and fish eyes were all mixed in. The cap on top of the coach had putty that looked like rippled glue that some poured on and there was a huge gap they just siliconed. We brought it to there attention again and this time the owner Mr. Carlton got irate he told us that our RV is old and that it's not going to look new and asked us have we walked around the coach and looked at it before. He locked the gates on us and we had blow to get out, the lady didn't want to open the gate wide enough for my car to get through. We left the RV there again and insurance company is supposed to come out and look with us, it's sad over 10,000 dollars in work and it looked better wrecked than it does now. They also used some belly tape in the gap between the cap and the body it is hideous. They are rude, and they do not do quality work please find another RV shop if you ever need repairs.

Sales and Repairs
Me and my wife purchased a fifth wheel from Athens RV in Feb. 2012. We have had nothing but problems with the refrigerator, air and heating unit, fireplace, stabilizer bar, slide outs and this winter a lot of water leaks due to the pipes freezing. I contacted Carlton the owner of Athens RV and was advised to bring the RV to his maintenance department and everything would be fixed. I traveled over 1200 hundred miles round trip and spent over $500.00 dollars of fuel. After he had the RV for two days, Carlton advised me everything was fixed. I returned to my location and when I arrived, there was still leaks, refrigerator still was not fixed and I looked under the RV and his service department had duck taped the under carriage of the RV, yes that is correct, they duct taped the under carriage. Also, the heating and air conditioner unit is still not fixed. Our extended warranty has paid for nothing. Yes, nothing. I called Carlton and made him aware of the problems. Carlton has not made any attempts to fix the RV. Once you purchase your RV from Athens RV beware. Carlton and his service department will not take care of you. I spent over 40,000.00 dollars for this fifth wheel and extended warranty and a lot of money in hotel rooms due to no heat or air conditioning. As of March 23, 2014, My fifth wheel is still not fixed.
