I sent my car tag renewal notice in by mail and neglected to include the check. After receiving the tag I watched for the amount to come out of my account and, of course it didn't. But I received an overdraft notice from a collection agency. Why did the license office issue the tag without a check? I would have taken care of it myself but now I have paid a $30.00 overdraft fee for a check that they never received. This makes no sense to me.
