WHEN JEFF AND POWER HOUSE MOTORS WORKED ON MY TRUCK TO REPLACE MY RADI... read more WHEN JEFF AND POWER HOUSE MOTORS WORKED ON MY TRUCK TO REPLACE MY RADIATOR THEY WERE UNABLE TO RECONNECT THE LOWER TRANSMISSION LINE CORRECTLY SO THEY PUT A RUBBER HOSE IN LINE WHICH BALLOONED AND FAILED LOOSING ENOUGH OF MY FLUID TO BURN UP MY TRANSMISSION . THIS IS NOT THE ONLY WORK HE AND HIS SHOP DID TO MY TRUCK ON THE ONE AND ONLY TIME I USED HIS SERVICE .I SPENT $1900 WITH JEFF AND WISH I HAD NEVER MET HIM .IT IS MY OPINION THAT POWER HOUSE MOTORS ON HOLLYWOOD IN MEMPHIS TN NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED AND I WILL EXCERSISE MY RIGHTS AS A CONSUMER .
Warning! These mechanics are scam artists! We had been taking our cars... read more Warning! These mechanics are scam artists! We had been taking our cars to them for several years, and that is 4 different cars. We thought they were great at first, until every time we got something fixed, we had to bring it back in one or two weeks for the same problem. They would say it was something else every time.We spent thousands of dollars to get them fixed and then Jeff admitted they were using cheap parts and even getting items from the junk yard to replace a mirror on my Honda. It was a totally different color than my car. He said they sent him the wrong color,but he put it on there anyway. He said, "Well, it still works" . The last straw was when we had our son's Suburban towed in for a minor problem and didn't get it back until 7 months later. Every time we asked about it, he said Caleb was working on it and had an excuse for why he hadn't finished it.Either he was sick or gone on a trip or the last one was he needed to find a part at the junk yard. That's when we thought something was up. We asked for it back, because we really needed it and the day before they said it was ready, Jeff called and asked where the tire lock key was. My son asked why and he said There was a flat. Well, they were new tires and nothing was wrong with them when we brought it in. The next day, my son picked it and Jeff told him it was running rough. He hardly made it home when the gear shifter fell out in the driveway. He had his 3 year old son in the car. Upon further inspection, they had taken all four tires and replaced with bald tires, took the transmission and replaced with a junkyard one that didn't even fit. They had even drilled new holes to try and make it fit. There wasn't anything wrong with my son's transmission, so Caleb must have needed it for his race car he was building. They had stripped out the wiring needed also under the hood and just put a plug in it. They also took the oil cooler and said they did a oil cooler delete on the paper. They charged us $1200 to fix it and change oil and transmission fluid and gaskets. There were no new gaskets and the oil was black and the transmission was full of metal flakes. They obviously were stripping the car and that was the reason they took so long. We called their wrecker service to come get it after it broke down and Jeff cancelled the tow and wouldn't talk to my son. Now, our other cars are having trouble and new mechanics are telling us of things that were done to cause future problems. Bunch of loose wires and spark plugs.The ground wires were all loose and our Buick broke down. Luckily, we took it somewhere else and discovered all the scams going on with Power House Motors. Please beware of these people! They are not what they seem!
