Went here on a referral with a coupon to have AC service. Mechanic did a good job , didn't try to up charge me. Honesty and integrity very much appreciated don't find that with a lot of mechanics these days!

I called and talked to George. He answered all my questions. gave me a quote and took his time with me. Driving a luxury car I am use to having shops and dealerships charging outrageous amounts for work and products. George changed all that. He was honest and even gave me a better deal than the best possible price I could find. He then ordered my tires for me and had them the same day. When it came to the work. they were very detailed and true experts. The work was flawless. Very friendly staff. I wish I could give them 5 more stars as they are a cut above the rest. Fair prices, great work, and incredibly clean. Also, Aldo (the owner) is great at communicating with you. It's great to have a mechanic that you trust to shoot straight with you. They go above and beyond, can't recommend them enough.

Excellent customer service at this American Tire Depot, I didn't had no problem at the first tire depot in Torrance on Hawthorne Blvd when I purchase my tire set but after today I'm really disapointed I called a appt for my tires to be rotated the guy was able to give me the appt the same day I was happy but meanwhile my truck was getting a oil change @ the dealership which took almost 2hrs instead of 1hr so made me late to my appt at American tire depot in Torrance so I get there and the guy didn't want to help me at all because it was almost 3 o'clock and had 4 cars ahead of me. I wouldn't mind to wait but he didn't even offer me. Instead he wanted to give me an appt for tomorrow, so I started calling all the American Tire depot around my area and found me the 1 in Hawthorne in Rosecrans Ave the guy who answer my called told me to come in and was going to help me with my rotation and they sure did help me ASAP when I got there and was out in less then a 1hr thank you guys so so so much for your help. This place is awesome. I was looking for a place near me that could perform an alignment on my 2007 Ford escape. The manager there (Don) gave me a great deal, presented me with excellent customer service and treated me like a human being. Within a 2 week period, 3 of my 4 tires had nails and screws found in them. I had to purchase a new tire for the first situation. The following week I had to make another visit for damage done to 2 other tires. They heard about my belief as to why I am experiencing this. Fixed the problem tires and sent me on my way..... NO CHARGE! They made a bad situation into a situation where I could be grateful for something. Thank you so much to the manager of Hermosa Beach American Tire Depot. It meant a lot!! I will be back! Shady shop in Glendale must avoid. I went in for some new tires. They continuously changed the price quote and switched tire brands. They insisted that I need an alignment and new control arm bushings or they won't provide warranty on the new tires. I allowed them to change the bushings and do an alignment and after a couple of days the car drives terribly. It pulls to either right or left side at highway speeds and intermittently there is a wobble on the front right wheel side. I took the car back and after their "mechanic" test drove they tell me I need new brake rotors and need new brake system. This is so bogus because when they worked on my car initially they said everything is fine we checked brakes, etc, etc, etc. My car was driving fine before they worked on my car! I just needed new tires. So now my car has a wobble and alignment is off and they wont fix the work they did. They want to charge me for more things that I don't need instead of replacing the cheap aftermarket bushings they put in. Really sad just avoid this place. Just let them fix your flat tires nothing more. CHECK THEIR BBB! ALL THEIR STORES HAVE 'F' RATING AND THE GLENDALE LOCATION DOES NOT EVEN HAVE BBB! How is this shop still open I have no idea...

Great service! I was given a detailed understanding of the issue my vehicle was experiencing. With my small budget incapable of undergoing all needed repairs, they made it work. I thank my lucky stars for this place!! For as long as I've been taking my car to the team here, which is about 6 years now (this was previously a Nappa, with the same team), I have always been listened to genuinely and given considered, expert recommendations for my old car. It's thanks to them that it keeps on going!! Managers Albert, Mitch and the mechanics are top notch, friendly and so helpful! They take the time to listen and explain. At first, having just moved to LA, I used to cross-check their recommendations with a friend who owns a repair shop back where I used to live. Every time, he agreed with the basis for their assessment, plan of action, and price. As an example of their honesty, there was one type of repair that, for the type of car I have, is apparently best done by the dealership, and they told me that up front, rather than just doing the repair themselves without telling me and leaving me with the chance that the car may not work as it should. They have never been pushy and they help me prioritize what needs to be done and what can wait. They have sometimes gone out of their way to help me. The friendliness and reliability with which I'm treated here makes this Napa shop a valuable part of my sense of community here in Hollywood. I'm so grateful to have them and couldn't recommend them more highly! Janet Caper

We used to have a family friend fix all of our vehicles but when he moved out of state his brother didn't do much for us. So we started to see Paul at American Tire Depot on Magnolia and he and his team really took great care of our vehicles.
