Very helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. They should change their name because they do much more than just tuneups and lube jobs. And, as a bonus, they are quick and friendly. One of the employees even offered to give me a ride there and back when my car had to be kept for a few days.

Star Auto Service is amazing. They really do the job right and take care of their customers. From the shuttle service to calling and giving me updates, I really appreciate their attention to detail. They even gave me a loaner car -- a Mustang which is considerably cooler than the minivan I left for repair. I've had a problem with an automatic side door that wouldn't stay open. The dealer spent an entire day and insisted I'd have to replace the whole door. I brought it to Star Auto and they were able to fix it for a fraction of the cost. Brought my vehicle in to have it diagnosed because it didn't pass the smog test. In short, dropped my vehicle off at 9:30 am, he didn't have it ready for me until after 4 pm. Billed me over $100 for 1.2 hours of work. When I picked my vehicle up, the drivers side window was stuck half way down. Couldn't roll it all the way up or all the way down. When I asked the mechanic if he could take a look at he told me he couldn't look at it because he had "other" customers and I would have to either leave it or bring it back in the morning. Told him I needed my vehicle for work. That didn't matter to him. Ended up taking my vehicle to a friends who was able to remove the door panel and fix the problem in about 30 minutes. In summary, they had my vehicle for 7 hours for a diagnostics check that took a little over an hour, was charged over $100 for that diagnostic check and then wouldn't take 30 minutes of their precious time to take a look at a problem that happened while they had the vehicle.

My wife’s expedition blew a heater hose while at Coffee Bean with steam coming out from under the hood she drove next door to American Tire. The guys “T” as in Mr. T was very helpful, even assisting her a tow to the dealer through AAA (garages don’t typically assist you going elsewhere, but they were helpful). Upon arriving to assess the problem I realized the “new” heater hoses are not hoses at all but rather multisegment manifolds. I felt comfortable with everything explained, they confirmed that the parts were available and it would be done by the end of day and it was. Very happy with the service and how we were treated. 5 star all the way!
