Again ABC steps up to the plate! I had what amounted to a dashboard warning light (and some kind of high-pitched squeal from the engine), just prior to a long-distance trip with my BMW X5. Hugo and team moved me up the line to get it sussed out, figured it was a loose gas cap, sent me on my way under the quoted price and 24 hours ahead of schedule. I trust these guys - TRUST. I highly recommend Neighborhood Car Care. I have brought 3 diff vehicles over the years to John and his team and never had an issue. I price shop any new place before giving my business and all but one time they have been cheaper or right around the same price. Needed new tires and went to them to see what price they could do. We were way off. Instead of telling me to pound sand, John offered to have me order the tires through my retailer and have them shipped to his shop so I wouldnt have to bring them to him and then install them. If I would have kept that car, I would have done it. His team has always been honest and straight forward with my wife and I. I have had friend mechanics check their work and said they do an amazing job and are surprised how cheap sometimes they are. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trust worthy mechanic.

Had my 93 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 at Performance Auto and could be happier with the service. The mechanic was polite, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The only problem I have is I'm moving to Oregon and my old girl will surely miss this shop. Kurt Devincentis

Mark and all the folks at Preferred Auto are the best. Since i have had a couple German cars lately i haven't been there for a year or two. When i brought in a used Acura for them to check before i bought, they did an extremely thorough check, and though it was low miles, the car was older and needed more work than i wished to do. The charge was more than reasonable, i would have been happy even if it had been 50% higher for the work done. They are always honest and fair and look out for their customers first. They clearly know that is what has made them so successful. THE BEST! Wish they worked on German sheet metal!! Howard Kaplan

I have been searching for a shop for my BMW after working with some duds!!! CS Motorwerks is by far the best and most honest BMW shop to work with! I wouldn't bring my BMW anywhere else.

I was a customer of A and D for many years. Having a mechanic you can trust is equally as important as having a good mechanic. I had my car serviced at GMC for the time I was still under warranty and yet they still would find ways to milk money out of me. I decided to go back to my trustworthy A and D because I trusted them to be honest with me and not try to charge me for services I didn't need or they didn't do. I throughly enjoyed Dave and his pups. He is one of the nicest, most genuine and knowledgeable people I have ever met. I say "was", because I have since moved away from the area. Trying to find a good mechanic in my new town has proven a tiresome process. I have yet to find anyone who even compares to the service I received at A and D. I still come to town to visit family and I still take my car to be serviced there while I am in town. I just hope nothing major goes on with my car because a tow ride to his shop 300 miles away would be an expensive one, but probably worth it.

We were referred to Mitch at Schneider's Auto Repair by a family member who has had nothing but good things to say about them. We have taken our cars to Schneider's for the past couple years and have received excellent service from them. The customer service department was extremely courteous to us each and every time. I have referred friends and family to them and will continue to do so!

These guys are TERRIBLE!!!! Run away as fast as you can, or go the extra 12 miles to Santa Monica and find real mechanics. These guys are a rip off who think they can do whatever they want since they are pretty much the only mechanics in Malibu. I trusted them with everything. They charged me $508.00 to check out my "service engine light" and then they didn't even solve the problem! Then they charged me $3,500.00 for a new radiator, hose, and water pump. The radiator hose blew off on my way home because they did not attach it properly, leaving radiator fluid all over my engine (they did not even have the decency to clean it off) and left me stranded 2 miles up the canyon where I live! 4 months later my brand new water pump completely failed leaving me stranded in downtown LA trying to figure a way to get it back to Malibu so they could fix it. On top of all that, while they were fixing it, they put new brakes on my car without asking me and handed me a $780.00 invoice so at least they could profit on their mistakes. They are horrible, save your TIME and save your MONEY! Do not go to these mechanics.

This place was busy right away this morning when I arrived. Still they were able to squeeze me in. I thought I need a tire patched as it was flat. Ends up it was only a bad valve stem. They switched it out in no time and didn't t even charge. I was pretty surprised and quite speechless. Thanks a lot guys. By much appreciate and you'll be seeing me again when it's time for new tires. John Sheridan

The service here is amazing. I went to go get my tire patched and they were pretty quick. I didn't have to pay anything I just tipped the man who put my wheel back in. I would definitely come back. Mauricio is very helpful. Edwin Aguilar
