Brought my Honda Element in for an oil leak. Other place wanted to replace head gasket, but Rusty diagnosed it to just the valve cover gasket and camshaft end caps. Saved me from unnecessary repairs. BnC seems to be very honest and only fix what really needs to be fixed. They are not trying to sell you or talk you into all kind of repairs. I can highly recommend them and will bring our cars there for any needs in the future.

I had them performed an engine swap in my Jaguar. The job was complicated because I had a Corvette 5.7L engine used to replace the 4.0L Jaguar engine. The job was completed in 2 days without any problem. Other shops that wanted the job asked for 7 days at least. I'm glad I found these guys - they are now mechanic for life. Good job!!! Great customer service - I originally bought 4 Winnrun tires in Murrieta and "tested" them on my commute to work - 60 miles. Horrible tire for an Audi A4. Manager at store of purchase said they were similar to my Toyo's. Ummm, no...So I went into the Kearny Mesa location and was greeted by Daniel and Joey I told them my issue and was promptly issued a credit for the tires and exchanged them for a set of Toyo. I went in for an oil change and I got a no-nonsense assessment of what needed to be done and when. They didn't try to oversell me or get me to fix things that weren't in need of repair. I really appreciate that! They also worked quickly and got me in with little notice and completed my service before the estimated time. Ryan is an amazing mechanic! Very knowledgable, personable, and honest. I recently moved from LA and have used the same mechanic for 15yrs on my Acura's, so I was hesitant to find a new one in SD. I was so pleased to find Ryan, b/c his approach was very similar to Jay my previous mechanic. He was able to fix my brakes, change the oil, replace the door locking mechanism, and have Hertz pick me up and get me a rental car: all for a reasonable price.
