Mario, the owner, is simply a great guy who provides impeccable service and the best work possible. Mike is a talented and hard worker. I am writing this review as a warning or caution to those who are considering taking their vehicle to this particular shop. I am a nearly 60 year old professional who has been a loyal customer of Midas for many years. I usually take my vehicle to the shop in Mission Viejo but for the past couple of years or so have been taking it to the Lake Forest location. In the past I have always dealt with the manager, Marcos, who was polite, professional and helpful. I wish he was still there. I recently had an issue with my taillight/blinker not working and I brought my vehicle to the Lake Forest Midas. I was told the electrical plate the bulbs plug into needed to be replaced, which seemed reasonable and the repair was made. Since that plate has been replaced by this shop, I have had to bring my vehicle back several times because the same taillight would stop working. I tried to explain to "Manny" that the problem is most likely a short or loose connection with the electrical plate they replaced. Manny could not have been any less interested in what I had to say, would talk over me and at one point told me they "don't do electrical", although their Whitepages advertisement states they do. The very next day, after one of my several trips back, my battery was completely drained. I tried to explain to Manny there must be a short or loose connection but again he just talked over me and dismissed anything I said. Manny told me I needed a new battery and $200.00 later sent me on my way. The SAME taillight went out again and again Manny was rude and not interested in helping me but said he would have his mechanic take a look. When I picked up my vehicle Manny was not around and the mechanic, who was actually nice and apologetic, told me no one ever told him about the electrical plate they had replaced, so he re-worked all the connections and sent me on my way. Long story short, taillight went out again and when I tap it with my hand, it goes back on, indicating a short or loose wire. I brought my vehicle back today and told Manny what was happening. Again, he could not have been any less professional or helpful and REFUSED to complete the repairs his shop initiated. I asked for the District Managers phone number and Manny told me he is the "Owner" and they would just have me call him anyway. I told Manny I would still like the number and he wrote down a number that actually connects to Equifax. Dishonest ? Disgruntled ? who knows ... hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else ... good luck.

Amazing work. The owner Kenni is an amazing woman. It makes me feel so comfortable taking my car somewhere to get an oil change especially being a woman because I know they will always be honest with me. I will always come here for any of my car needs.

I was on vacation with my family and I had a tire that kept losing air. This place hooked me up with a new tire valve and got me back on the road in no time! I came in with 20 minutes until closing time and they still provided fantastic service! Great customer service. Highly recommend this place for any tire needs! -Kristie Phillips

Brought my vehicle in to have it diagnosed because it didn't pass the smog test. In short, dropped my vehicle off at 9:30 am, he didn't have it ready for me until after 4 pm. Billed me over $100 for 1.2 hours of work. When I picked my vehicle up, the drivers side window was stuck half way down. Couldn't roll it all the way up or all the way down. When I asked the mechanic if he could take a look at he told me he couldn't look at it because he had "other" customers and I would have to either leave it or bring it back in the morning. Told him I needed my vehicle for work. That didn't matter to him. Ended up taking my vehicle to a friends who was able to remove the door panel and fix the problem in about 30 minutes. In summary, they had my vehicle for 7 hours for a diagnostics check that took a little over an hour, was charged over $100 for that diagnostic check and then wouldn't take 30 minutes of their precious time to take a look at a problem that happened while they had the vehicle.

Excellent mechanic shop I finally found to take my Sprinter Vans for service in Los Angeles Much better than dealerships. Nice people, expertise work, convenient location, fair price. No Wonder that they have so many cutomers

Glad I took a recommendation to try this place for bodywork cracking on a vehicle after dealing with several not so honest mechanics. Ricardo and company are extremely professional, honest, and timely. Don't waste your time and money on other mechanics. Well worth the distance to get here and the quality of their work is unmatched. Great folks, good prices, and awesome customer service!

OET had my problem diagnosed within two hours and had my car back to me within the same day. I was shocked when I was told that the problem was minor. My repair cost substantially less than I expected. I knew then, that I had finally found an honest mechanic.

What I love about this place is that they are courteous and helpful. I called and spoke w/ Bill the manager told him my issue, brought my car in and because it was just a minor issue I was in and out in about 30 mins or less!!! I will definitely take my car back there!

Went here on a referral with a coupon to have AC service. Mechanic did a good job , didn't try to up charge me. Honesty and integrity very much appreciated don't find that with a lot of mechanics these days!
