My family & I have been going to California Auto Center for our car repairs for years. We also refer our friends & co-workers. We love their honesty - they only tell you things that you really need to fix. They explain very well on what the work/job/repair is. You also get a lot of good advises from them regards to car maintenance, car selections, smog check station, body shop, etc. Price is reasonable. Turn around time is as promised, and if urgent, they try to accommodate as much as they can. I still remember one time my car refused to start - I was in Campbell, and AAA does not even cover that long distance of a tow - Andrew called his regular tow truck company and towed it back to his shop for a very inexpensive fee. In addition, it happened after work hours, and Andrew spent his off hours to assist/rescue. You do not get this kind of good service at other places - but here.

I discovered Auto Care Specialist after too many years of being a dedicated dealership customer because I wanted to insure my car warranty was maintained. I took my car in to Auto Care Specialist today for basic service, and fully expected to have the oil, oil filter, air filter and lube done. When Chris contacted me to let me know that my car was in great condition and only needed the power steering fluid flushed, I asked "What about the oil and oil filter, and air filter?" Chris said "Not needed at this time!" Call me surprised by that news, as my car's oil and oil filter were always changed, every 6, 000 miles, and then always seemed to need something else done/replaced that increased the service cost well beyond what I anticipated, by the dealership. How refreshing to be not taken advantage of, and to have only the necessary work done on my car! Great and prompt service. It may have taken me too many years to find this quality auto service center, however, I am thrilled to know that my car care needs will be taken care of, without my needing to take a 2nd out on my house! Had my car detailing done at Mr Detail Plus in Hayward. They did a clay wax on the body and fixed curb rash in few of the rims. Fixing the rims took a bit longer than promised, so the guys did a nice complementary interior cleaning and leather treatment. Great job, reasonable price, and really nice folks.

My experience with Winchester Transmission has been wonderful. I have had several cars serviced with them. They always solve the problem and they are willing to go the distance for their customers.
