Let me tell you about JCW Auto Repair. On 8/9/2024 I was traveling from Berkeley CA after visiting my son, daughter in law and toddler grandson back to my home in north coastal San Diego. I had my 5 month old Corgi puppy with me, (she was a champ the entire trip). I noticed during the grapevine approaching the LA National Forrest the engine seemed to be working hard. I saw freeway signs recommending drivers turn off their AC during the steep grades and incline and I did so. Google maps redirected me to go through Pasadena to SD vs LA as LA rush hour traffic was slammed on Friday. Travel slowed considerably and I noticed my temperature gauge starting to rise in the stop and go traffic. I turned off the AC again, it was 107 degrees outside. Across the freeway from me was a Subaru car dealership, but it was now 5:01 and I know the service dept would be closed. I took the very next exit as I could see it was an industrial area and there had to be something there. I pulled over in some shade to let the car temp gauge to cool down. I saw the car repair shops were all closed. I thought about calling AAA, but what could they do other than tow me? I called my brother in law in SD, he had me pop the hood and check the coolant which was almost empty. He directed me to drive a few miles just west of my location to an O'Reilly auto parts store and he would coach me how to add the coolant. I started to drive about a block and found JCW Auto repair with the bay doors still open. It was clear everyone was closing up but stayed to help me. Jed immediately went to work, I popped the hood, he could smell the radiator heat. Jed immediately noticed my radiator cap was broken. I explained I had taken my Subaru to the dealership two days prior to my road trip to have the oil changed, tires rotated and the fluids all checked. Jed said the service department should have caught this broken radiator cap. Two jugs of coolant. Jed tried to find a used radiator cap that would work, he finally took one off his own personal vehicle that fit my Subaru. Jed cautioned me to drive the rest of the way to SD at normal speeds with no AC. It was blazing hot out there. He even gave me a jug of water if the temp gauge started to rise again and explained do not open the cap until it cools down. Jed seemed genuinely concerned and worried but felt I should be able to make it to San Diego if I take it easy. I asked Jed how much I owed him and Jed told me to give him whatever I thought was right. I am a widow traveling alone, I am beyond grateful for Jed dropping what he was doing to take care of me and get me on my way. He had along day at work and was ready to go home. Jed really saved me and my little puppy. He saved me an expensive repair bill or even my car breaking down on the freeway. I shudder at the danger of that. My sons and my family are exceptionally grateful too. It should be noted when I got to San Clemente I turned the AC on and the temperature gauge never moved from the middle center line. It was so chilly in the cabin my fingers and feet were numb with cold air. I would definitely, most assuredly take my vehicles to JCW Auto repair for all my service needs and might even drive to Azusa from SD for such quality excellence in service. This is the America I grew up in, where there was honesty, integrity and high moral character among our car mechanic professionals, where a handshake was considered to have as much value associated with it as a man giving his word of honor. This place is a scam and rip me off.... took my car in for not starting. they piggy back a connector to my fuel pump relay and charged me for something that it was not even replaced!!!! found out from another shop when the car have the same issues and symptoms. DON'T TAKE TO THIS PLACE!!! call them and never call me back. DO NOT TAKE TO THIS PLACE!! THEY RIP PEOPLE OFF THE OWNER IS A CROOK!!!

I would have to say that they are the best at what they do. I took my car wrecked from the accident. They towed my car for free to their shop and started on the paperwork right away. Not only they are honest, they are also reliable. In only 3 weeks I had my car back, in perfect condition. A+ to Pristine Auto. God forbid I have another accident, Pristine is my body shop!

Excellent customer service at this American Tire Depot, I didn't had no problem at the first tire depot in Torrance on Hawthorne Blvd when I purchase my tire set but after today I'm really disapointed I called a appt for my tires to be rotated the guy was able to give me the appt the same day I was happy but meanwhile my truck was getting a oil change @ the dealership which took almost 2hrs instead of 1hr so made me late to my appt at American tire depot in Torrance so I get there and the guy didn't want to help me at all because it was almost 3 o'clock and had 4 cars ahead of me. I wouldn't mind to wait but he didn't even offer me. Instead he wanted to give me an appt for tomorrow, so I started calling all the American Tire depot around my area and found me the 1 in Hawthorne in Rosecrans Ave the guy who answer my called told me to come in and was going to help me with my rotation and they sure did help me ASAP when I got there and was out in less then a 1hr thank you guys so so so much for your help. Glad I took a recommendation to try this place for bodywork cracking on a vehicle after dealing with several not so honest mechanics. Ricardo and company are extremely professional, honest, and timely. Don't waste your time and money on other mechanics. Well worth the distance to get here and the quality of their work is unmatched. I brought in my BMW 530i and received marvelous service. I had a chance to speak with one of the mechanics when I first brought my car in, and he was very attentive and on top of things. Throughout the whole process Swiss Motors kept me updated on the scope of work and the cost. When they found issues in addition to the main problem I brought my car in for, they let me know what it was, how important it was to fix, and what the cost would be. I never felt at all pressured to add anything, and I never felt like I was being upsold - all that Swiss Motors cares about is getting your car fixed efficiently and cost effectively, and keeping you updated every step of the way. I needed a rental in the meantime while my car was being repaired, and even though Swiss Motors doesn't offer loaner cars there is a Hertz super close by that worked out just fine. And ever since I got my car back from Swiss Motors it has been running like a dream.

Other things in life, like having a dentist, plumber, doctor ... or mechanic ... are about relationships and value (quality versus cost). Many people know that referrals are the best way to find these connections. And once we've found one of these connections, we're very likely to keep it for the long-term. This was the only place that can get my tire on the fly. I have a tire size that's hard to find quickly and The pricing was perfect. The service was great!! And pretty quick. I came in today and will be back in a few weeks for more work. I had a screw that was in a very bad area of my tire preventing it to be repaired. These guys are awesome Francisco has the best customer service he's staying after closing to solve a problem with my dad's ac. The cost isn't worth staying after but he goes above and beyond. This is my new place to bring my truck and refer my friends and family to, not only is it low priced service they are also honest. Hubert has always been good on communicating with me and telling me when something is not needed. I moved to the south bay over 10 years ago and he's always been my 1st call for any of our auto needs. I highly recommend. They specialize in Amsoil and that all I run on my wife's Honda and my F350. Don't get me wrong they have a vary of supplies.

The service at Rick's was terrific! I was on my way to take my son back to UC Irvine from Agoura when my battery and engine lights came on. It turns out I needed a new alternator and belts. Rick went out of his way to accomodate my schedule. He fixed my car promptly which enabled me to get my son back to UCI to attend class that afternoon. The owner, Glen, really knows about taking care of your customers. I didn't know what to expect from an independent BMW repair shop. My factory and extended warranty ran out and I needed a starter replaced and the dealer quoted an arm and a leg! On Sunday evening I left a voice message requesting a quote for the service to my car. I immediately received a text message with a quote early Monday morning. Ruben was not just genuinely a cool guy but very straight forward and open about the quote and diagnostic. The prices beat the other repair shops' I contacted and the experience was way better than what I experienced at the dealer. I even received video clips of him showing me how he replaced the starter and other steps. Honesty, no gimmicks, the best price I explored, great customer service, and I will definitely continue my servicing needs here
