I research the heck out of my shops because I care about my car. Jay was highly rated, and I was given a casual recommendation through FB. I pulled the trigger and brought in my '06 BMW for some scheduled maintenance. I got my rear brakes done, a coolant flush, and a brake flush. I quoted the same work through the dealer just up the street and Jay came more than 30% cheaper. He dropped me off at work, and also picked me up as well. Now that's service. He sent me pictures of the parts he replaced and kept me updated on the progress. It seems simple that someone would think to do this now, but most don't and I appreciate it. Never felt pressured or pushed. He explained everything and was very knowledgeable about my car. Since he worked at BMW SF for over 17 years, I thoroughly trust him. Mr. Sartorial is a professional and a gentleman. He quoted me 2/3 off the price to do the timing belt on my Kia that my dealer quoted me and got it done in two days. Then, when he heard that I would be riding my bike over to santa rosa to pick up my car, offered to meet me half way at safeway so I wouldn't have to cross the highway and deal with downtown traffic. Good to know that decent mechanics are still out there; I would highly recommend for a friendly, professional and personable tradesman.
