Shady shop in Glendale must avoid. I went in for some new tires. They continuously changed the price quote and switched tire brands. They insisted that I need an alignment and new control arm bushings or they won't provide warranty on the new tires. I allowed them to change the bushings and do an alignment and after a couple of days the car drives terribly. It pulls to either right or left side at highway speeds and intermittently there is a wobble on the front right wheel side. I took the car back and after their "mechanic" test drove they tell me I need new brake rotors and need new brake system. This is so bogus because when they worked on my car initially they said everything is fine we checked brakes, etc, etc, etc. My car was driving fine before they worked on my car! I just needed new tires. So now my car has a wobble and alignment is off and they wont fix the work they did. They want to charge me for more things that I don't need instead of replacing the cheap aftermarket bushings they put in. Really sad just avoid this place. Just let them fix your flat tires nothing more. CHECK THEIR BBB! ALL THEIR STORES HAVE 'F' RATING AND THE GLENDALE LOCATION DOES NOT EVEN HAVE BBB! How is this shop still open I have no idea...

My wife’s expedition blew a heater hose while at Coffee Bean with steam coming out from under the hood she drove next door to American Tire. The guys “T” as in Mr. T was very helpful, even assisting her a tow to the dealer through AAA (garages don’t typically assist you going elsewhere, but they were helpful). Upon arriving to assess the problem I realized the “new” heater hoses are not hoses at all but rather multisegment manifolds. I felt comfortable with everything explained, they confirmed that the parts were available and it would be done by the end of day and it was. Very happy with the service and how we were treated. 5 star all the way!

Being a single woman I was hesitant to trust any repair shop and gladly my fears were for naught. The people at Our King Auto Repair are friendly, knowledgeable, and completely trustworthy. I saved $100 on tires by coming here and I'm glad I did. I ordered a set of 4 tires and made the appointment on their website (which included a $20 off promo for booking online) I made the appointment on Sunday and had it scheduled for Tuesday AM as they would have to order them and they wouldn't arrive till Monday afternoon. Monday afternoon I called to confirm my appointment for Tuesday morning and Charlie let me know my tires would arrive in the next hour and that they were available to install now if I was interested. I dropped the car off and 1 hour later I had 4 new tires installed. They even had a nice shine to them. The paperwork was taken care of quickly. Charlie in the office was helpful and courteous. Got a flat and got it towed here because it was close to Cal Poly. People here are really nice and they fixed my tire for free! Brian was really cool and we had a friendly conversation while Mynor was fixing my tire very quickly. Probably the best experience I had at a car service location. Highly recommend! Jose Jimenez

The staff was friendly and performed the alignment check quickly. I was concerned about possible frame damage on a used car that I was considering purchasing and they directly addressed my concern about that issue instead of simply telling me the car was aligned well. While waiting outside, they got a chair for me to sit in, so that was nice, too. Chris Morris

This company doesn’t take responsibility for damage caused by negligence of their mechanics. After four tows back and forth to their shop and a fifth to the shop that actually fixed the problem they don’t want to pay for what it costs to fix what was damaged caused at their shop, instead just want to offer a refund. This is like if they didn’t fix your brakes properly and you crash, they would just offer a refund on the brake job and not the damage caused by their negligence. It cost $650 to repair what their mechanic messed up and they want to offer me a $380 refund. Be aware, this company takes no responsibility for their actions. Off to small claims I go...
