Tire repair service near Pleasant Hill, CA

I've been going to Autowise for years. The people who work there are friendly and professional. Right now my family owns and maintains 5 cars. Autowise services all of them, and I have never been stuck by the side of the road in any of them because they do such good work. That is very important to me, especially when my children are behind the wheel. As far as price goes...cars are not cheap to maintain! I would recommend that you shop around. You might find a better price, but remember the old saying...You get what you pay for!

Sunset Garage deserves more stars than 5. I have fired so many mechanics in my life, and it must have been because I was waiting to find Georges and his crew. I have been using them for well over ten years and am one of their biggest fans. I ALWAYS recommend them anytime somebody brings up an auto issue. They can fix just about any auto out there, and can even tell you the "lemons" to avoid when you are out looking for a new or newer vehicle. Again, THANKS GEORGES!! You are the best. Steven H. I brought in my 1987 Dodge B150 van. Yes, a really old van that wouldn't pass smog. A "gross polluter" per the smog shop. Michele and Dennis worked on my car diligently to figure out what the issue was. Turns out the timing was way off. After 2nd smog test, the van no.'s were really good to a low emissions vehicle. Yeah! Dennis also pointed out that my steering column was very loose. In the past, I've been told that the whole steering column needs to be replaced. But here at GF Automotive, it might be repaired, saving me a whole lot of money. GF is an honest auto mechanic shop. Hard to come by these days. Thank you Michele and Dennis for all your help!

My truck wouldn't pass the smog test and you discovered a broken cigarette lighter. I had been plugging a dash camera into it and that was causing the fuse to mess up.

I had the lifetime break pads installed on my car about a year ago and now need to replace them. So I called them to see about replacing them and was told the front end replacement job would be $189.99. When I told them I had the life time replacement pads on the car and asked what would the price be I was told $198.99. I will not be going back to them, they are a rip off. Will also tell every one I can about this.

Referred to Family Auto Care by CarMax since they were booked throughout the month. Was impressed by the service Nicole and Sean provided. Very understanding to my situation and was able to offer me a drop off and a pick up ride to and from their shop. Very polite and professional. Honest mechanics with great customer service. Steven took the time to call me and explained to me the condition of my brakes and he called again when the work was completed. i work close by and it is convenient for me to pick up my car after hours at the AMPM store. Fair prices and honest mechanic.
