Mr. Patrick- funny how we did such a great job on your wife's bike, but such a terrible job on your bike doesn't that tell you something!

New Rocker box covers, drive belt

My wife’s bike (97 Harley Davidson Dyna Low Rider) needed a new starter. Since the Harley shops don’t work on bikes that are older than 10 years, Horn Cycle came as a great recommendation. So we took her bike in, and they did a good job replacing her starter. Now for my bike (95 Harley Davidson Dyna Low Rider) the rocker box covers were leaking, and I needed a new drive belt. Since they did a good job on my wife’s bike, we took my bike in, ($1585 later). When we went to pick up my bike, the mechanic asked, “have you had problems starting this bike?” “Umm….No” I replied and I took the bike home as it started right up. Well a few days later as I was trying to leave work, the bike wouldn’t start, (and NO it’s NOT the battery) pushed the button numerous times. Called Horn, and Curtis came over, (it’s only a few blocks from work) and the bike started right up. After several days of not starting, we rented a trailer and took it back to horn. They did some work ($60 later) and said it’s fixed. So I went over and brought it home. Next day, same thing wouldn’t start. Renting another trailer taking it back to Horn, they said I needed a new starter ($678 later). A few days after that, wouldn’t start, but now after waiting a few minutes and trying again, it would start. But that didn’t last long, bike still doesn’t start. This was from the period of Sept. 2009-March 2010. And no I still can’t get it started. So now I’ve got an untrustworthy bike that I can’t ride because I can’t get it started. Thanks Horn, I will NEVER go back to Horn.
