He has not tried to convince me to do something that doesn't really need to be done. He trouble shoots problems like a master mechanic should and only does what makes sense to do. When I first came to California a year ago, my clutch ground completely away from my 1999 VW Jetta and I needed a repair. I was expecting to pay $800, but was billed only $630! Al was terrific and my car drives great now. Al and Jeff at expert mobile have a combined 60 years of experience (I asked) and have incredible service. Since then I go to Al for everything, knowing I will walk away with great service, at a low price, and that he got the job done quickly. I recommend Al to anyone in need of a trustworthy mechanic. (He even helped explain to me that I didn t need some repairs that would have cost me a lot!)

My daughter came for visit for holidays and her car had check engine light on. Took the car to Steve at Meineke day after Thanksgiving and he got us right in. I rolled in at 6:30pm on Friday with my brake lights not going off when i turned off the car. obviously, if i didn't get this fixed, the battery would drain and i'd be out of luck with a dead battery by Saturday morning. I went to the front desk and asked if the mechanics were still on duty. he said they were off at 5pm, but i could go in there and ask if they could do me a favor. owner/operator/master technician chris stepped right up and how he could help me. i explained the issue and he spent about 5-10 minutes working my issue and sure enough he figured it out and at least came up with a temporary solution. he told me what to do to arrange a permanent fix and didn't try to tell me to bring it in Monday so he could fix it for a bunch of money. i asked him if i could compensate him for this mini consultation...and he declined. an owner/operator/master technician who's still at his shop 1.5 hours after closing time on a Friday willing to stand tall and help out someone in need seems like a pretty solid guy to me and a guy who's doing what it takes to make his business successful. I'll be taking my BMW to Chris for service going forward.
