These guys are TERRIBLE!!!! Run away as fast as you can, or go the extra 12 miles to Santa Monica and find real mechanics. These guys are a rip off who think they can do whatever they want since they are pretty much the only mechanics in Malibu. I trusted them with everything. They charged me $508.00 to check out my "service engine light" and then they didn't even solve the problem! Then they charged me $3,500.00 for a new radiator, hose, and water pump. The radiator hose blew off on my way home because they did not attach it properly, leaving radiator fluid all over my engine (they did not even have the decency to clean it off) and left me stranded 2 miles up the canyon where I live! 4 months later my brand new water pump completely failed leaving me stranded in downtown LA trying to figure a way to get it back to Malibu so they could fix it. On top of all that, while they were fixing it, they put new brakes on my car without asking me and handed me a $780.00 invoice so at least they could profit on their mistakes. They are horrible, save your TIME and save your MONEY! Do not go to these mechanics.

Got a flat and got it towed here because it was close to Cal Poly. People here are really nice and they fixed my tire for free! Brian was really cool and we had a friendly conversation while Mynor was fixing my tire very quickly. Probably the best experience I had at a car service location. Highly recommend! Jose Jimenez

1 year ago my brother-in-law referred me to Midas Diamond Bar after I told him I felt the Toyota dealer I had been going for 3 years up-sold some unnecessary services to me. Since then this place has been my go-to shop for all my car maintenance and repair. The staff (Nitin) was really nice and very honest. Doesn't try to push some unnecessary services to you. They make sure that they take care of you nice and fairly and that you feel comfortable with them so you will come back. And I will def come back. -Jared Wu

Went back to ATD saw alex and Tony, They got me in and out for another full synthetic oil change. Took care of my car and got me back on my way. Love this place. These guys the staff and the mechanic on duty are awesome. Aaron Doolittle

My wife’s expedition blew a heater hose while at Coffee Bean with steam coming out from under the hood she drove next door to American Tire. The guys “T” as in Mr. T was very helpful, even assisting her a tow to the dealer through AAA (garages don’t typically assist you going elsewhere, but they were helpful). Upon arriving to assess the problem I realized the “new” heater hoses are not hoses at all but rather multisegment manifolds. I felt comfortable with everything explained, they confirmed that the parts were available and it would be done by the end of day and it was. Very happy with the service and how we were treated. 5 star all the way!
