Smart service near Santa Fe Springs, CA

Got a flat and got it towed here because it was close to Cal Poly. People here are really nice and they fixed my tire for free! Brian was really cool and we had a friendly conversation while Mynor was fixing my tire very quickly. Probably the best experience I had at a car service location. Highly recommend! Jose Jimenez

1 year ago my brother-in-law referred me to Midas Diamond Bar after I told him I felt the Toyota dealer I had been going for 3 years up-sold some unnecessary services to me. Since then this place has been my go-to shop for all my car maintenance and repair. The staff (Nitin) was really nice and very honest. Doesn't try to push some unnecessary services to you. They make sure that they take care of you nice and fairly and that you feel comfortable with them so you will come back. And I will def come back. -Jared Wu

I thank my lucky stars for this place!! For as long as I've been taking my car to the team here, which is about 6 years now (this was previously a Nappa, with the same team), I have always been listened to genuinely and given considered, expert recommendations for my old car. It's thanks to them that it keeps on going!! Managers Albert, Mitch and the mechanics are top notch, friendly and so helpful! They take the time to listen and explain. At first, having just moved to LA, I used to cross-check their recommendations with a friend who owns a repair shop back where I used to live. Every time, he agreed with the basis for their assessment, plan of action, and price. As an example of their honesty, there was one type of repair that, for the type of car I have, is apparently best done by the dealership, and they told me that up front, rather than just doing the repair themselves without telling me and leaving me with the chance that the car may not work as it should. They have never been pushy and they help me prioritize what needs to be done and what can wait. They have sometimes gone out of their way to help me. The friendliness and reliability with which I'm treated here makes this Napa shop a valuable part of my sense of community here in Hollywood. This company doesn’t take responsibility for damage caused by negligence of their mechanics. After four tows back and forth to their shop and a fifth to the shop that actually fixed the problem they don’t want to pay for what it costs to fix what was damaged caused at their shop, instead just want to offer a refund. This is like if they didn’t fix your brakes properly and you crash, they would just offer a refund on the brake job and not the damage caused by their negligence. It cost $650 to repair what their mechanic messed up and they want to offer me a $380 refund. Be aware, this company takes no responsibility for their actions. Off to small claims I go...
