Came for oil change even though it was busy my car was finished in a timely manner very pleased bringing my car here for service.

The people at harbor view Mobil were kind, knowledgable and efficient. My car was acting up while I was out of town and both Chris and Tony assured me that everything was going to be ok and kept me in the loop throughout the whole process. Last week I had the alternator replaced on my 1989 Ford LTD Crown Victoria and had this car smog checked. This was the second time I have had work done on this particular car but in the past they serviced a 1990 Lexus LS 400 that I used to own. These people have very different vibe than any other shop and I have been to many in my life. They don’t try to upsell you or use some cheep “time pressure” techniques. They honestly look at your car, give you their opinion and very fair price and let you decide what and when you want to fix. I never felt pressured into anything, unlike all other places. I stumbled accross these mechanics through my doughter’s acquaintance and thought to myself at first” another shop we will be testing for a few months untill we get tired of them selling us repairs we don’t need” but do far I have been here about 5 times for various things, I had a very pleasurable experience with both the owner and the young gentleman that works there. Recommend to every body who is tired of being hustled by a money hungry & commission driven people.

I don’t know how to review this mechanics shop. I had a full brake job done on my van. The back brakes squeaked afterwards and they replaced all the parts and did the job completely over again. Then the front brakes were faulty, my steering wheel wobbled like crazy. They had to re-do the entire job on the front. This is two separate appointments, for a total of 3 times in the shop. My conclusion is this: If they had used quality parts to begin with, I would not have experienced this. Either that, or they never even replaced the brakes, they didn’t do the work at all, took $1845 and ripped me off. They didn’t show me any bad parts, didn’t offer to show me or give me my old parts back. The office gal is wonderful and tries very hard to make sure the customers are happy. They did fix the problems in the end. But it took too much of my time, too much of my lost money not working, and too much trust is lost. Overall review: WOMEN BEWARE. I think they are taking our money and not doing the job.
