My mom brought her car into Nick to have her car fixed to pass for smog inspection. He quoted her $450 max (includes parts and labor) to fix her car to pass smog inspection. I took her to pickup her car from Nick Shell Service and Nick gave us the total... $674.44. I was surprised that it was over $200 more than what was max quoted! What a rip off!!! Never again will I let my mom visit this establishment and warn other people to visit this place. Save your time and money and take your business elsewhere.

At the time I went, about 6 months ago, it seemed that the brothers had recently teamed up on this new smog-check business venture. One of the brothers was there when I arrived and he was incredibly enthusiastic. He offered me reading material and a coke while I waited--- I turned him down, but the gesture was very sweet. Overall, the guy did my job quickly and efficiently and with an ardent desire to please his customer. What more could you ask for? And he was open late-- hence how I ended up there after passing mulitple closed smog check only sites after work.
