My husband and I have been loyal customers of West County Tire & Automotive in Anaheim for many, many years. They are dependable, honest, and great at what they do. They have an excellent rapport with their customers. An added bonus is they are avid baseball fans, as are we. Staff was helpful and did not try to haggle me with ridiculous prices or false claims. Once I was going to be late for work with two flat tires. Luckily I was close to this place and they were willing to take me in. Once the repair and rotation of the tires were done, I was charged nothing! That's right nothing, I couldn't believe it. Brought my vehicle in to have it diagnosed because it didn't pass the smog test. In short, dropped my vehicle off at 9:30 am, he didn't have it ready for me until after 4 pm. Billed me over $100 for 1.2 hours of work. When I picked my vehicle up, the drivers side window was stuck half way down. Couldn't roll it all the way up or all the way down. When I asked the mechanic if he could take a look at he told me he couldn't look at it because he had "other" customers and I would have to either leave it or bring it back in the morning. Told him I needed my vehicle for work. That didn't matter to him. Ended up taking my vehicle to a friends who was able to remove the door panel and fix the problem in about 30 minutes. In summary, they had my vehicle for 7 hours for a diagnostics check that took a little over an hour, was charged over $100 for that diagnostic check and then wouldn't take 30 minutes of their precious time to take a look at a problem that happened while they had the vehicle.
