I've been to these guys before for an alternator replacement and they did a great job. When I realized my car was leaking oil I brought my car to them to find out what was going on. They took the time to look carefully for the source of the leaks and found the valve cover gasket had shrunk over time and the bolts had worked their way loose. They also noted that the radiator and heater hoses were old and cracked. The car was leaking oil AND water! Nathan and Kevin replaces the gaskets and hoses, tightened the bolts and attended to a few other issues. I got my car back running like new! I'm really impressed with their attention to detail. I brought my 2010 Jeep Wrangler in for transmission issues about a year or so ago. Less than 5 months later, my Jeep began leaking really bad again. About 5 months later like clockwork, my Jeep started leaking bad for the third time. In my opinion, I believe they did not do a complete and thorough check of all potential leak problems or they lack the skillsl to do the job right the first time. I won’t go back to these people again

We were on a trip to see family when our engine started over heating. We putted our way to the nearest high rated mechanic. As soon as the mechanic arrived we got a price quote, and promptly began working on our vehicle. The time went over what was estimated but the price did not. He was very thorough and explained everything that was happening with our vehicle. We liked the transparency when with the large bay window looking into the shop. Last December, I need to have Oil, filter change and break pad. I went online and found coupon for Midas in Arden since it's closer to work. I took my car the following day and received great service. I came for Oil and filter only but I knew tabout my break pad is need change because the dealer told me a few months before. Last night, 3/28/13, I went online and read some of the rating. One that stuck to me is, Arden Midas is great at first but the second and third visit doesn't give you good service. Since I received a good service last time, I check this shop again. As soon as I got there, I told the person on the counter what I read about this shop. Someone gave them a bad rating. he said really. Guess what after I told that person about the bad rating, he himself did the service and found out that he is the owner. I received an excellent service. I'll come back again and let my friend knows. thak you
