Chris and his team did a 21 point inspection, same as other place, and found $0.00 wrong except the quote I asked for for a new antenna. Took a car in for an oil change and tire rotation. Ended up getting a tie rod replaced at their recommendation. The day after the car was picked up the engine quit. Checked the oil at the time and it BARELY showed any oil on the dipstick. Had the car towed back and all they would say is that the symptoms were consistent with oil starvation, but wouldn't admit to ANY fault in the outcome, nor would they entertain offering any portion of my last invoice ($300) as a refund. Very disappointing - I had thought they were better than that.

I have only brought our cars in a couple times, but Chuck and his sons have been fantastic. They are very knowledgeable and their prices are lower than any other quotes I got on small and major work I had them do. Last spring while I was waiting in the lobby my son, who has type 1 diabetes had very low blood sugar that I couldn’t keep up after using all of our snacks and juice. I took one of their sodas from the lobby cooler and that did the trick, thankfully. I mentioned to Chuck that he had never had soda before because we try to stick with healthier foods- but when it gets dangerously low you grab whatever you can. Today, 4 months since we were in the shop, we had an appointment and he had gone to the store and bought apples, cookies, and water and said he was thinking of my son and wanted to be sure he had options to choose from if he needed anything. These are more than great mechanics, these are friends, and if I could give them more than 5 stars I would!
