Alfa romeo service near Fort Collins, CO

After 5 times they failed to fix my car or even properly diagnose it. Told me to drive it until catastrophic damage happens. Overfilled my engine, broke my wiper arm motor, killed my battery several times, I have scratches from damage done by them in multiple spots. Refused refund for diag they didn’t do. Avoid this shop at all costs.

Charged me over $900 for a simple job of replacing and alternator BUT did not replace the serpentine belt (clearly with the number of miles my truck has on it the belt was old) so I was stuck on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere and paid a whole lot of money to get my car repaired all because of a $20 belt and a lack of focus on quality work.

I have been using this shop for 25+ years. They are the best in NOCO as far as I am concerned.

Extremely disappointed in their service and attitude. We brought a vehicle there to look at a problem. That was the first issue, we should have merely gone to auto zone, where we would have got the original diagnosis that they gave us for free and not have paid $135+ for them to tell us you may or may not have an alternator problem, and you may want to replace the batteries. Again, I could have shown up to an auto zone, and they would have told me that for free. Next is that advice was "The beginning, and more than likely several more tests will need to be done, and those fixes which they quoted at over $1K may not fix the problem that we brought the vehicle in for. This tells me that this shop likes to "Throw Parts" at a problem and hope that it fixes the issue and does not truly take the time to figure out the root. Stay away from this company, I find these practices and mentality very unethical when it comes to car shops. Fortunately the shop we did end up taking the vehicle to has a better process in place and does not want to nickel and dime their customers.

Even though Houska is right down the street from us and I've lived here 18 years, I'd never taken my car there until last week. . . now, I will never go anywhere else. The staff was super friendly, they were quick to respond to my request for an appointment, they called with suggestions of things they found that needed attention during a routine oil change and had it all done in no time. We took our Toyota Tacoma up to Houska's to have bad shaking checked out, that was occurring over 60 mph. After an hour they found two of the fairly new tires out of balance, re-balanced them, and didn't even charge for it - even though the tires were not bought there. The awesome service and professionalism is the typical treatment we've gotten every time we've taken a vehicle to their shop over the last decade. Phil C. Johnstown, CO

They were so helpful. I had a really expensive service that had to be addressed and they helped me fully understand what was wrong and they got me connected with the NAPA car car card. These people care about their employs and their customers and they are a great group to work with.

Tom, I'm sorting out the smoking...and at first was a bit frustrated, but when you offered to drop everything and pick up the car, and suggested it may have been something that your tech's had done wrong, and clearly you were accountable for it, my experience swung strongly the other way.
