Land rover service near Fort Collins, CO

Charged me over $900 for a simple job of replacing and alternator BUT did not replace the serpentine belt (clearly with the number of miles my truck has on it the belt was old) so I was stuck on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere and paid a whole lot of money to get my car repaired all because of a $20 belt and a lack of focus on quality work.

Every time I take one of my vehicles into Collins Automotive, I am amazed they even have time to work on it with how busy they are. Scott knows his stuff and is one of the hardest working and respectful small business owners I have observed in quite some time. Very impressive customer service, old school values and honest. Not looking forward to next vehicle problem, but wont be disappointed to go visit Scott again as watching him interact with the barrage of phone calls and walk in clients with multiple questions, motivates me to make my own business better! -Gary Morris

After 5 times they failed to fix my car or even properly diagnose it. Told me to drive it until catastrophic damage happens. Overfilled my engine, broke my wiper arm motor, killed my battery several times, I have scratches from damage done by them in multiple spots. Refused refund for diag they didn’t do. Avoid this shop at all costs.

Oil change was done while I waited. No problems.

I bought my car from J & M. When looking for a used car, I asked numerous friends and family members to recommend someone I could trust. J & M Precision Motors was highly recommended. Not only did I receive a beautiful car at a good price, but the service is great, too!! I am totally ignorant when it comes to car mechanics. Because of that, I am nervous about any little thing that is not perfect in my car. Mike and Perry have both taken the time to explain to me in detail any questions I might have. They have a way of problem solving with me, re-assuring me when I need it and giving me honest opinions about the choices that I have, so that I can make an informed decision. Whenever I bring my car in for service, they are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They are amazing! Because of the quality of their service, I will always take my cars to them! And should I ever need to buy another car, they will always be my first choice! Thank you guys! Sue T.

I received a really cool inspection report with pictures! Nice people, very informative!

Extremely disappointed in their service and attitude. We brought a vehicle there to look at a problem. That was the first issue, we should have merely gone to auto zone, where we would have got the original diagnosis that they gave us for free and not have paid $135+ for them to tell us you may or may not have an alternator problem, and you may want to replace the batteries. Again, I could have shown up to an auto zone, and they would have told me that for free. Next is that advice was "The beginning, and more than likely several more tests will need to be done, and those fixes which they quoted at over $1K may not fix the problem that we brought the vehicle in for. This tells me that this shop likes to "Throw Parts" at a problem and hope that it fixes the issue and does not truly take the time to figure out the root. Stay away from this company, I find these practices and mentality very unethical when it comes to car shops. Fortunately the shop we did end up taking the vehicle to has a better process in place and does not want to nickel and dime their customers.

These guys are seriously awesome. John is easy to talk too, lays out all the options, and has gone the distance with getting my car fixed. Absolutely recommend them for any auto fixes.

Called these guys when I broke down on a Sunday afternoon. I was traveling for work with my twins.I called these guys and they saved the day! He said he would be there in an hour and a half. He was right on time! He started reasearching the problem from the least expensive problem to the most and eliminating eachas he went all the while explaining what he was doing and why. He was very aware not to get the inside of my Lincoln dirty. He had us up and going in an hour. The total for traveling to me, labor, and fixing it was a 1/3 of what Firestone wanted to charge just to diagnose the problem. They were a life saver! Even called a couple hours later to make sure thungs were still working ok. Offered to drive out to my jobsite if I had anymore problems. I would recommend these gentelmen to everyone.
