Please do not let the words warranty fool you! This is how Superior Engines has gotten people sucked in. The owner Scott, is actually very rude. He will find anything and everything to not warranty his work. By the way he promises his cars that leave his shop will always pass emissions. He's a liar. Please do not trust this business. He also requires 1/2 money down. A good shop does not. That is just fishy. He has an A with the BBB only because you will get an A if in good faith you try to resolve the issues. So, we're supposed to let him for a second time let him do what he should have done the first time??? For 1/2 of what you paid the first time? REALLY??? If the customer declines for him to do the work again for 1/2 price, they take it that he gets an A and the situation is resolved on his part. Is that right? NO! Please if I can keep one more person from getting taken advantage of then this worked. SCOTT IS A CON MAN!!!!!!!!!

I have used this shop without any issues for a couple years. I get peppered with text messages to bring my car in. When I finally needed an oil change, I made an appointment online. Brought my car to the shop on Quebec and my car and wasn’t on the calendar. The guy at the front desk offered to squeeze my car in, but it would take all day, which is what I was trying to avoid. He actually seemed frustrated with the system and said I needed to call next time. I double-checked the confirmation and I had the correct date, time, and location. So, owners, why are you the last operation during the pandemic that hasn’t figured out online appointments? Really frustrating.

Avalon has been fantastic, honest, shares knowledge and offers guidance, excellent mechanical repairs at reasonable rates. We purchased an Audi from a small dealership that did not share all the problems it had. Avalon worked with us to assure auto is safe and running well. Not only is Nate a repair genius, he's also an honest, hard working, genuine guy. I came in to get a tune up, bearings replaced, front end aligned, and fluids flushed and replaced. He did all of that and also found out where that annoying clicking was coming from. Instead of using a $600 local part, he found the part in Texas for half the price! And instead of just flushing all of my fluids and charging me for the whole shebang, he saw that only the power steering fluid was dirty and only did that. Not only will I come back for my Subaru needs, I'll also tell all of my friends with imports to check with him first. Amazing service, prices, and customer service. Trust me, go talk to Nate before you go anywhere else. I definitely will.

Charged $140 for the WRONG diagnosis. Quoted $2000 for the work, which wouldn't have fixed it anyway! Went elsewhere and got my car running again perfectly for $400. These guys are either scammers or extremely incompetent. In either case, AVOID THIS PLACE!

My issue accured using my cruise control on the highway, as I slow down my rpms started idling, the only way to get it to was to barely tap gas and brake to get it stop. I called Pam asked if she know what the problem was got no answer. I called some places looking for a transfer case, pam finally returned my call said it was possibly the transfer case. She asked why I was going to take it to another shop when she would do it for 1000. I told I had 350 now and I'd get the rest in a couple days I dropped on a Monday a week an half before Christmas. I was told from the shop that it should only take 4-6 hours to replace. I didn't get my truck back until Christmas Eve. So not knowing what was really fixed, I took it to get oil change and they informed me my output transfer case seal is leaking bad and I need to take it back to who replaced it. Call the Pams business number it's temporarily disconnected.
