Great Service! Great Management!

I went to porter hyundai in newark, de to reset the computer (not the code) since the engine light with 0401 code is coming out. I already brought this car to 2 different mechanics and they all told me the same that the EGR is fine. What it needs is to reset the computer -not just to delete the code, but to reset the computer. Like rebooting a pc. to get rid of the engine light. The car advisor Keith Laverty says they did it but the light keeps coming back. I have a feeling that this service advisor is telling a lie because a car needs to be driven before the lights will come out again. He charged me $89.99 for the check-up which I already told them that I know the problem - what I need is for them to "Reset the computer", not the code! This dealership just wanted to get money. They have no concern or even listens to the customers. Also, I came there 10am and told him that I need to be out by 11am because my wife has work at 12pm. I will not hand-in the car if we'll be late. He promised it can be done my 11am. It's already 11:30 when the car was ready. He even told me to drive faster to get my wife on time to work!! What a very bad service advisor. He is suppose to give good advise. But instead he already rob us of the service that was not given and yet they wanted us to get a speeding ticket or worse an accident!

I want to say first this Shop was so friendly and helpful. I had got in car accident on Sunday. Called them Monday morning and my guy who I deal with, was out sick, so the Girl at the front desk, Cat got my car over to their shop right away! I even had the wrong phone number! I call the fax machine & Cat knew to call me back... Anyway, the whole experience was seamless, professional, and easy! They even dealt with my insurance company! I will recommend this Hart's Auto Carriage to everyone I know for sure. Go here you will be very Happy! Mrs. Liu

My family and I have been taking our car there for over 20 years. The owner, Randy, is the best. His prices are a little more expensive than other places, but he always gets to the root of the problem and he is trustworthy. Routinely, he tells us when we can wait to get a service done or if we don't need to do it at all. In the end, this saved us a ton of money.

hello i was having a problem with my 98 durango with bad handleing and excessive front end bouncing so i when to bernies cause ive been there before and told the manager the problem i was having and he inspected the front tires and saw that the belts were shifted and he said that was the problem i was like ok look i dont hav a lota money really to spend on tires we wentback in the office and he got me 2 really nice 31/10.50/15 for a great price they work with you the truck rides like a different vehical i feel a lot better goin up and down I 95 lol check em out !! satisfied cust. If you value your money seek another mechanic. My car smokes, stalls and shakes ever since the lead mechanic Dan laid his hands on it. What should have been a simple fix turned into a ferocious nightmare. Take your car elsewhere.

I am really surprise that you are requesting a survey from us after providing such a lousy service, or lack of service for our Mazda Tribute that you totally destroyed, causing us to junk same. After collecting over $1,600 from us, only to have the vehicle towed to our home for onward transmission to the Junk Yard; you were so interested in receiving your "REPAIR COST," that you forgot to put you had dismantled back on the vehicle before releasing it to the tow truck operator, after insisting, and receiving your "REPAIR COST," that I had to call you to my home to put what you had dismantled together; what a shame; I wish AAA could read this review and take you off their list of recommended auto centers; you are giving AAA a bad image by having you on their list. Anyway, the vehicle is off our hands now, thanks to you; as for recommendation, we suggest that your outfit be listed as a SAVAGE CENTER,OR BETTER STILL, XAVIER'S AUTO SAVAGE CENTER.
