I went to Ron's because my nextdoor neighbor recomended them to me. WOW, I AM SO IMPRESSED!!!! I came in for 4 new tires and an alignment. I asked them to give the car a quick check out. Dimitry found a split axle boot and a bad ball joint. I was prepared to leave it for a day or two to have it repaired, but instead they ordered the parts and got me done same day. As someone who works in the car world and is very cautious when it comes to mechanics, I can say hands down these guys are the best! Everyone I met was friendly, helpful, patient and went out of their way for me. The work required for my car required a lot of investigation to discover the issue and could have cost thousands to fix, but Bill researched a more affordable resolution that got the job done and hopefully will prevent the issue from arising again! Call ahead if you can. Shamrock has worked on 3 different vehicles for me. most recently repalced wheel bearings on my explorer. rapid service, reasonable price, actually was about $75.00 LESS than i was quoted and expected. the difference in the handling of my vehicle was amazing and noticed within seconds of pulling. the owner (?) is knowledgable and willing to explain what is going on with your vehicle. He has my business and I'd suggest him to anyone I know

Brought car in for annual state inspection and whatever else it might need, including an oil and filter change. That turned out to also include replacing the spark plugs and also flushing the power steering fluid, all items that used to be simple but now add up to $700 on my little 335xi. Oh well, with a long inline 6 hiding the two rear cylinders changing the plugs (necessary every 45k miles) is no picnic I'm sure. It's the price of admission for driving these things. I must add though that keeping up with this stuff is absolutely necessary to keep a Bimmer running like, well, a Bimmer. I swear the car feels like it has 50 more HP; it zings up the tach with what is clearly less effort than before and climbs hills with less pedal position, all because of new plugs and an oil change! Or perhaps it's because Steve Snow sprinkles some of that Bimmerworks magic on the car just for taking it there. Whatever, the car runs great and I know I'm taking it to BMW experts without financing some fancy dealership's latest addition. If you drive a Bimmer, and live within 35 miles of this place, you should seriously consider taking it here for service. -Len Dube
