I get four cars serviced at J&L for everything and I have never had a reason to question their ethics, honesty, or workmanship. I have found that there pricing has always been fair and they will look for ways to save you money on parts and they never double dip on labor. That is charging you for the same task twice. For instance if you get your timing belt changed you should also replace your water pump. Most placing will look in the book and charge you labor on each task when in reality labor for removing the belt is loaded into both repairs. J&L will not take advantage of that situation. I am not sure what happened with the review above with the oil change but there is no way in my mind that it could have happened the way she says. Sounds more to me about someone looking for a free repair.

Jay goes above and beyond to make sure my car is right with quality care. He finds problems that my previous mechanic doesn't to improve longevity of the car with affordable prices. My family and I have been taking our car there for over 20 years. The owner, Randy, is the best. His prices are a little more expensive than other places, but he always gets to the root of the problem and he is trustworthy. Routinely, he tells us when we can wait to get a service done or if we don't need to do it at all. In the end, this saved us a ton of money.

The experiace I had at this store was very good. Lowest tire prices in the city. They carry just about any brand. Employee owned company really shoed in their service. I highly recommend.

I am really surprise that you are requesting a survey from us after providing such a lousy service, or lack of service for our Mazda Tribute that you totally destroyed, causing us to junk same. After collecting over $1,600 from us, only to have the vehicle towed to our home for onward transmission to the Junk Yard; you were so interested in receiving your "REPAIR COST," that you forgot to put you had dismantled back on the vehicle before releasing it to the tow truck operator, after insisting, and receiving your "REPAIR COST," that I had to call you to my home to put what you had dismantled together; what a shame; I wish AAA could read this review and take you off their list of recommended auto centers; you are giving AAA a bad image by having you on their list. Anyway, the vehicle is off our hands now, thanks to you; as for recommendation, we suggest that your outfit be listed as a SAVAGE CENTER,OR BETTER STILL, XAVIER'S AUTO SAVAGE CENTER.
