Paul Ferrara is probably the last honest mechanic out there. The dealer had quoted me $1059 to fix my AC, he did it for $700, same warranty as the dealer.

I had a frustrating experience with Auto Repair Pros and Walter, the repair advisor. It's unacceptable that he failed to fix my car noise issue despite multiple visits and charges. I’m gonna explain now everything to make it clear! My issue was with some noise coming from engine, my repair advisor was Walter. I dropped off my car for the service, and in the end of the day Walter asked me to leave the car for another day, I said ok. The next day car wasn’t fixed. I rented a car. Eventually car was staying there for 6 days. I spent money for car rent which Walter promised me to cover because kept the car too for their fault and didn’t do. They changed so many things and eventually when I picked up my car I realized that the noise is still there. Walter told me that it can’t be fixed because it’s Nissan car and the mileage is already 120K. I have my warranty for my car, I paid my deductible which I have to pay and also Walter charged me taxes which I shouldn’t pay. I was ok, paid it and got my car back thinking let’s see what’s going on. Next days I was checking my car and after few days I realized that that the problem was with motor mount which auto shop didn’t find and didn’t fixed. I sent car again to that shop and explain the issue to Walter again, he agreed with me and took my car again for the service. In the end of the day when I was picking up my car Walter said me they changed the motor mount but the noise was still there, Walter said there’s nothing they can do with that. Again I paid deductible and taxes and left the shop. I was very disappointed and upset about the service. A week later I decided to go to the official Nissan dealership service and after diagnostic they told me that the issue is with motor mount which is never been charged. They changed the motor mount and the issue was resolved and I never hear the noise again! So I’m very disappointed with service and Walter, who was lying me about everything, he charged me for taxes which I shouldn’t pay, according my agreement I’m only paying for deductible 100$. He promised me to cover my rental which wasn’t covered( I realized this when I called to warranty company and calculated everything, however invoice that Walter gave me says he deducted 200$ for rental) and eventually he didn’t fix my car! I’m thinking about to talk to my attorney about this case, because its not appropriate to lye customers like this.

this is a mickey mouse company! the Micky mouse that came to help me on the road did a damage to a brand new car! he came with a sedan to help a transit! with flip flop and tank! ridicules! if you care about your car dont call, dont walk, RUN

This is about an auto mechanic afoul experience. My car coolant gage was going up to about 3/4 way and then back to normal , so I decided to take the car to the mechanic shop to avoid overheating. The mechanic stated that the thermostat needs to be changed, and I agreed. Later that day he calls me seeing that there is a small leakage at the water pump also so I agreed to change the water pump to. When the car was ready I paid the bill 457$ and left the garage, next day on my way to work the car overheated in the highway and I had to call a tow truck, so I took the car beck to the same mechanic shop thinking that the car have some warranty on the work was was performed. When the mechanic is taking the lover plastic shield down, one of the water pipes from the radiator (witch supposedly should be secured to the body of the radiator was loose so it touched the pulley and the front belt eating the robber and loosing all the coolant).He stated that he didn't touched that hose, of course he did otherwise he had to remove the radiator in order to change the thermostat and the water pump. So I told him to change that hose an I will pay for it just don't charge any labor hose cost 40$.After he changed the hose we find out that another hose under the intake manifold is leaking to. Hose cost 70$. this was on a Monday, so he kept the car there till Friday when he called me to pick up the car.. I went there and he mad me pay another bill for 160$. After I paid this he left the facility and I left to. After 2 blocks of driving the car overheated again, so I took the car back , demanding that I want my money back because he done more damage to the car than good ,I never got my money back and he told me to call the police, so I did and of course the officer didn't helped at all Don't go to this crock, besides he doesn't know what he is doing he is pretending that he is smart

Wonderful service

As an owner of an S60-R Volvo, I like and need a certified professional to service my auto. After my discontent with the non-excellent customer service experience from my nearby Volvo dealer, I decided to try Davie Motors, and so glad that I did. Jeff who works the front desk scheduled my appointments at my convenience, advised me on the status of my auto & the cost of my repairs in a timely manner and with courtesy. Jeff was also attentive as I waited for my repairs to be completed. I was pleased that Doron, the DM owner, he had "hands on" with my auto and listened to my concerns with an unhurried patience and also attentive. And most important to me, they treated me with respect and equality by using all the mechanical words to describe the issues and explaining them too when requested. And considering that I am a woman, that is what I call great customer service. The cost of repairs is reasonable too for being a performance auto. My auto is running as expected, thanks to the auto care from Davie Motors! Thanks to Kip, Jeff & Doron! European cars are my passion therefore I am meticulous about my car. It took me over a year to find my Audi A6 4.2 quattro and I have up until this point done the work on my own car. I currently am working at a car dealership and have witnessed the absurd prices that “stealerships” charge for the most basic repairs and parts. The people at Davie Motors really are European Specialists. They let me store my car in the garage for almost 2 months! The fans for my car cost 1200 dollars I ordered salvaged fans and they turned out not to work. Davie Motors ended up being able to fix the brushes on my old fans so i wouldn't have to buy new ones thus saving me 1200 dollars. About a week later a hose blew on my power steering and Skip fixed it for free. I have taken used cars from the dealership here and referred multiple people. DAVIE MOTORS MAKES OWNING EUROPEAN CARS WORTH IT! This place is the best I wouldn't go anywhere else! REPAIRS COMPLETED: radiator, a/c condenser, a/c compressor, crankshaft seals, valve cover gaskets, radiator fan, auxiliary belt ECU update, transmission update, motor mount, not to mention radiator fluid, power steering fluid, oil change (Liqui Moly). Then they charged the whole system plus a vacuum test and dye-test.

I’ve been a loyal customer for years and sadly this is my last time coming. The staff is great, super friendly and attentive. The owner on the other hand, is rude, unprofessional and doesn’t know how to treat long time customers. Spoke to me aggressively on the phone and even hung up on my face when explaining an issue I was having after visiting the body shop for an oil change. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.
