Horrible guy, horrible experience, and totally horrible job. I paid Randy $360 to rebuild the carbs on my old 2000 Yamaha because I wanted to sell this bike running good with no issues. Not a bad price to rebuild the carbs. Two weeks later I go to pick up the bike. I drive it home which is all of 2 miles from his makeshift house/shop. It ran fine. My friend takes it for a test drive the following week because he is interested in buying the bike. The bike hadn't moved since I picked it up. My friend rides off. About 20 mins later I get a call from my friend that the bike is POURING GAS out of it. No clue from where. Guess an overflow. It will not run and is stranded pouring gas everywhere. I call Randy to ask him for his advise. He was very rude and his first response is "THAT'S NOT MY PROBLEM." I say hey, I just paid you to fix it and make it run good. Next he says, "the floats are probably stuck, go over to where it is and tap on the carburetors." I was in shock. Like ok, me being a girl and all I'm sure you see the irony. I say...so Randy, you mean all I have to do is tap on the carbs and its just going to stop POURING gas out of it?? He continues to belittle me and say that the bike ran fine when it left and IT WASNT HIS PROBLEM. So the bike is still pouring gas out of it. This guy will NOT back his work. He sprayed some black paint on the exterior part of the motor and played it off like he was doing me a favor. I have no idea if he even opened the carburetors. I will from now on leave the backyard mechanics exactly where they belong in the backyard. I suggest you do to and pay a real motorcycle mechanic that will guarantee results. I wish there was a ZERO star because it would have his name on it.
