WOW These guys are awesome! Their honesty and troubleshooting skills puts them over the top. I'm a 28 year Aviation Industry veteran and would highly recommend Transbuilt Transmission. I appreciate and know good mechanics when I see them. My Jeep Grand Cherokee had transmission related problems along with other electrical issues. Their diagnostics led them to an electrical module that was interfering with the vehicles communication data bus. They were honest about their findings and were very effective in the repair. My 2011 car stalled out multiple time and was accelerating when in park. Willow bend automotive called and told me my filter was dirty and once they cleaned that the problem went away however they found Multiple issues. Over 1500 dollars to fix it was a lot but we have to have a reliable vehicle. Fast forward to the day after we got the vehicle fixed we noticed it was missing a little when we slowed down or in park. A couple weeks later the car stopped while behind another vehicle on a busy road. The thing I brought it in for was NEVER fixed. So now more than 500.00 more they want to fix something that was supposed to be fixed. Unbelievable. Yesterday I asked the mechanic if it would cost me something and today they called back and told me a different story. I went by good reviews. Never again. I feel scammed.

These guys and at Ice Cold Air, S Westshore blvd in Tampa, are really great! I was down from out of town and they took my car in right away, told me what was wrong, and had it fixed in no time, so I can still enjoy my vacation with my family. Juan is great. He understood my situation and had no problem getting my car in. Jeremy the owner works really well with his guys. He was also understanding to my situation. He's a family man himself. Called Late on a Saturday Night, Came out with in a 1hr, Saved me money on a Tow, got me back and on the road. Honest, Fair pricing and saves me money by coming out to me. I now have them Maintain our Fleet.

I searched everywhere to find someone I could trust. Tons of questions and costs for things to be repaired or replaced. All this was because of a prior visits to another place who just looked at it and told me it needed a new transmission. When I finally contacted Engines and Transmission I felt by just talking to them I was at the place I needed to be. They took the time to answer questions, they picked up my vehicle, they called me at different steps to inform me of what they found. I went from thinking that I was going to have to replace/rebuild my transmission to items that were done in a much faster time and what was really needed. Living on a budget and worried about the cost...........I can not thank them enough for being so helpful, kind and considerate. I will return for checkups on a vehicle I had only had for 5 months and knew nothing about - but now I do. To everyone at Engines and Transmission but especially Ashley, Kate and Jason.. My daughter's truck broke down while at USF and Robert from RJL repaired it quickly for very reasonable cost. I live a few hours from Tampa, so I called him after finding his shop on this website. He even offered to tow her truck if it couldn't make it to the shop. He was honest and only repaired what was broke and did not try to con her into anything more. Thanks Robert, I'll refer all the USF parents I know to your shop from now on.

9/9/17. My daughter trying to decide to leave Tampa got some bad gas and is broke down. I called from Pensacola Fl. and Pernell answered and said he would go see what he can do. I pray for him and my daughter. Time is running out. I wait to hear from him. I pray he can get her car running.

When my local discount auto parts store was unable to install their replacement battery in my 2012 Focus, when I asked for a recommendation. Without hesitation they recommended Brothers, touting their honesty, fairness and comoetency. Such a reasonable charge and quick service, I honestly gave them a tip! Just week's later, faced with the 2009Ford Flex AC not working and bizarre behavior before a trip to see family. I was able to find a 3rd party part I suspected was the likely culprit. Ford would have marked it up and it likely would have cost me 2 to 3 times as much. I got the part overnight and to Brothers by noon. By closing time it was fixed and ready for pick up. Read the reviews on Google, I just did. And liked most of them. Any less than stellar review was rare and in my opinion unwarranted. Brothers is aptly named. Although they could easily be called Friends or Family, as it was a joy meeting 3 generations of family. Owner. Son and 6 year okd grandson., I found out just before leaving.

To Ashley Butler of 410 S.Dale Maybry ICE COLD AIR discount auto repair shop. I would just like to say how well she runs her bussiness and cares about her customers. I had a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder with a blown motor so I purchased one from a company that sells used motors and had Ice Cold Air do the installation,The can very goord for a month and then a feantw minnor problems occ likelyured, like an antifreeze leak which Ice Cold Air attemped to fix each time I had the car brought back. Then I had an oil leak which was most likely coming from the rear main seal which meant dropping the transmission which is a big job. So the reason I am writting this retraction is because I bad mouth her shop about not fixing the leaks when the car was brought back which ICE COLD AIR did every time the car was brought back and the oil leak I can ubderstand 10 hours of labor which the manager said if it's the rear main seal he would reimburst me for the labor. When my x-wife brought the car back to ICA cause she saw oil and antifreeze kind of leaking together and the manager tells her she needs to leave the car or it might cause more problems, you leave the car and not say I can't cause I need itthen;s your on your own if something like over heating occures and the motor seizes then it's notthe fault of the repair shop it's your fault. See I didn't know my X bruoght the car back for that problem and she was afraid to call and tell me this or my son and le Coldet my son drive 40 miles the next day I would of told her to leave the car right there and this never would of happened.
