I was driving from out of state to my 2nd home for a Christmas family visit. As I was driving over the Courtney Campbell Causeway, sun setting on the horizon, had to open the sunroof and smell the salt air. Beautiful scene. Got to my place a few minutes later...could not close my sunroof. Tried to get the roof to close over the next day to no avail. Called the local dealer, earliest service appointment was 7 weeks out. Was recommended to a European repair shop by a neighbor. After looking at it for a few minutes, they said, "need to take it to the dealer, work too involved". Looked up European car repair in Pinellas County online, several came up, including R&B's. Had great reviews. Called and spoke to A.J. Professional, informative, explained the initial steps w/costs and could get me in the next day. Dropped it off next day and they Ubered me back to my place. They called a few hours later, had gotten the roof to close, which is all I wanted. Cost was exactly what was quoted, initially. Quoted me a price for a new sunroof motor, which sounded reasonable. Decided to leave as is because of heading back North in a couple of weeks and not needing the roof open for quite a while. Being from out of town and completely at their mercy, they could have taken it to me. Instead, A.J. and Molly chose to be honest, courteous and professional. If you have work needed on a European car...take it to this shop. You won't regret it.

This is a great place for repairs. The "dealership" we went to could not fix our vehicle. Bob and his crew got it right the first time at way less $$$.

Self diagnosing on web searches led me to expect a more costly repair. I initially set up my appointment stating what I thought was wrong with my car. After a short wait, I was told that I have cheap, noisy brakes! Thank you Greg and your staff for having the knowledge and integrity to fix the issue and not take advantage of me. As long as this shop is open, I will continue to drive well out of my way for all repairs and services.

WOW These guys are awesome! Their honesty and troubleshooting skills puts them over the top. I'm a 28 year Aviation Industry veteran and would highly recommend Transbuilt Transmission. I appreciate and know good mechanics when I see them. My Jeep Grand Cherokee had transmission related problems along with other electrical issues. Their diagnostics led them to an electrical module that was interfering with the vehicles communication data bus. They were honest about their findings and were very effective in the repair. An amazing team here, they treat you like family, service is very personalized and on point. Rocky and the mechanics are fair and truthful, jobs are always done correctly and with attention to detail. I have NEVER been disappointed here, they are so knowledgeable and have tons of experience. Hanna and Cindy in the office are amazing and a wealth of knowledge themselves! I am in good hands with them and would never trust my Jaguar to anyone else.

I bought a brand new alternator and brought it to these guys to get it installed. As I was waiting for the service, they kept telling me I can not look as the mechanic is installing the alternator. It sounded weird so I walked outside to see what's going on from a little far away. The mechanic came up to me and said he is feeling nervous when I'm watching. They asked me to sit in the office. I did what they said, feeling very uncomfortable. I knew something was fishy. After a while they brought me my car. The minute I turned on the car it was making a weird noise. I told the mechanic about the problem, and he said he can't do anything about it. I went to another mechanic to see what's wrong and I found out that they put a used alternator in my car and kept the brand new one that I gave them to install. What a dishonest service!!! Now when I call them, they tell me they have to charge me again for labor to install a new alternator. How about the one they stole from me?
