These guys and at Ice Cold Air, S Westshore blvd in Tampa, are really great! I was down from out of town and they took my car in right away, told me what was wrong, and had it fixed in no time, so I can still enjoy my vacation with my family. Juan is great. He understood my situation and had no problem getting my car in. Jeremy the owner works really well with his guys. He was also understanding to my situation. He's a family man himself. I searched everywhere to find someone I could trust. Tons of questions and costs for things to be repaired or replaced. All this was because of a prior visits to another place who just looked at it and told me it needed a new transmission. When I finally contacted Engines and Transmission I felt by just talking to them I was at the place I needed to be. They took the time to answer questions, they picked up my vehicle, they called me at different steps to inform me of what they found. I went from thinking that I was going to have to replace/rebuild my transmission to items that were done in a much faster time and what was really needed. Living on a budget and worried about the cost...........I can not thank them enough for being so helpful, kind and considerate. I will return for checkups on a vehicle I had only had for 5 months and knew nothing about - but now I do. To everyone at Engines and Transmission but especially Ashley, Kate and Jason.. When my local discount auto parts store was unable to install their replacement battery in my 2012 Focus, when I asked for a recommendation. Without hesitation they recommended Brothers, touting their honesty, fairness and comoetency. Such a reasonable charge and quick service, I honestly gave them a tip! Just week's later, faced with the 2009Ford Flex AC not working and bizarre behavior before a trip to see family. I was able to find a 3rd party part I suspected was the likely culprit. Ford would have marked it up and it likely would have cost me 2 to 3 times as much. I got the part overnight and to Brothers by noon. By closing time it was fixed and ready for pick up. Read the reviews on Google, I just did. And liked most of them. Any less than stellar review was rare and in my opinion unwarranted. Brothers is aptly named. Although they could easily be called Friends or Family, as it was a joy meeting 3 generations of family. Owner. Son and 6 year okd grandson., I found out just before leaving.

My daughter's truck broke down while at USF and Robert from RJL repaired it quickly for very reasonable cost. I live a few hours from Tampa, so I called him after finding his shop on this website. He even offered to tow her truck if it couldn't make it to the shop. He was honest and only repaired what was broke and did not try to con her into anything more. Thanks Robert, I'll refer all the USF parents I know to your shop from now on.

9/9/17. My daughter trying to decide to leave Tampa got some bad gas and is broke down. I called from Pensacola Fl. and Pernell answered and said he would go see what he can do. I pray for him and my daughter. Time is running out. I wait to hear from him. I pray he can get her car running.

Owners a decent guy(Tom), (mark) was cool too. The issues were the hack insurance company located out of state. They took there time paying for repairs and as a result the shop held my wife's car generally for ransom. I learned legally they can't do that and the payment issue was between the shop and the insurance company. Luckily I had a paid rental car so I wasn't pressed. Still I'm disabled and the stress exasperated my illness. Now , the initial repair also was substandard as the bumper popped out when I pushed on it and the hatch sheet metal collapsed in from damage. These two things were serious problems and I had to leave car for another week to repair correctly. However, the final end result was solid. The paint was spot on and the car looks great. 3 stars is generous.

To Ashley Butler of 410 S.Dale Maybry ICE COLD AIR discount auto repair shop. I would just like to say how well she runs her bussiness and cares about her customers. I had a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder with a blown motor so I purchased one from a company that sells used motors and had Ice Cold Air do the installation,The can very goord for a month and then a feantw minnor problems occ likelyured, like an antifreeze leak which Ice Cold Air attemped to fix each time I had the car brought back. Then I had an oil leak which was most likely coming from the rear main seal which meant dropping the transmission which is a big job. So the reason I am writting this retraction is because I bad mouth her shop about not fixing the leaks when the car was brought back which ICE COLD AIR did every time the car was brought back and the oil leak I can ubderstand 10 hours of labor which the manager said if it's the rear main seal he would reimburst me for the labor. When my x-wife brought the car back to ICA cause she saw oil and antifreeze kind of leaking together and the manager tells her she needs to leave the car or it might cause more problems, you leave the car and not say I can't cause I need itthen;s your on your own if something like over heating occures and the motor seizes then it's notthe fault of the repair shop it's your fault. See I didn't know my X bruoght the car back for that problem and she was afraid to call and tell me this or my son and le Coldet my son drive 40 miles the next day I would of told her to leave the car right there and this never would of happened. I’m a property manager for 22+ years and unfortunately a tenant broke a window during a move out. Based on the good online reviews of Glass Doctor of Tampa, I unfortunately hired this horrible rip off company to repair the window. They charged me half of the repair upfront of $150 prior to looking at the job (I provided a photo as requested). The quote was based on replacing a 30x36 window. The technician failed to show as scheduled that morning with no phone call to advise and then another technician was sent out after 4:30 same day and used a lockbox for entry. The incompetent technician replaced an 8x8 section of glass only and used duct tape and lots of glue to secure the window which I followed up on the job next day. I reached out to management who refused to take responsibility and offered a $20 credit and to go back and clean up. Needless to say, they got paid via their free access to my credit card and refuse to charge me only for the job they actually did poorly and not what they quoted upfront. Lesson learned - I do not recommend anyone retaining this rip off company for garbage work!!! I WILL NEVER USE OF REFER GLASS DOCTOR OF TAMPA.....
