My "vintage" Class A diesel motorhome has toured beautiful North America from Key West to Fairbanks and Cabo San Lucas to Halifax. I rely on Preventive Maintenance Service to keep the old rig reliable and roadworthy when home in St. Pete. On this year's trip to the Pacific Northwest, one of the Suburban furnaces quit working. Two different service centers in that area worked on it. One didn't have a clue what was wrong. The other gave the furnace Last Rites and wanted to sell me a new one. Once home, the folks at PMS checked it out and found a defective wire which they immediately repaired. The unit works like new. I highly recommend PMS for any of your motorhome/RV maintenance needs. They Had our vehicle for over 1 month. Was told every other day it would be done. They said they fixed the transmission problem & then wasn't fixed. A dollar was stolen from our center console, Mcdonald cup in the cup holder. & then when supposedly the transmission was fixed the spark plug blew out of the engine on their test drive. We Were told it was fixed, drove it 2 blocks & was making loud noises, supposedly spark plug shot out again. Picked up again the next day because it was supposed to be fixed & same thing happened. I pulled out the coil pack & they didn't even replace it, instead they cemented it onto the engine block. Spark plug wasn't re-threaded like they said they were going to. There was also glue on the plug as well. When my wife attempted to talk with the owner about their shotty work the owner yelled and cursed at her & told her to get off his property. We were just asking for part of the money back from the spark plug issue they failed to fix.

Owners a decent guy(Tom), (mark) was cool too. The issues were the hack insurance company located out of state. They took there time paying for repairs and as a result the shop held my wife's car generally for ransom. I learned legally they can't do that and the payment issue was between the shop and the insurance company. Luckily I had a paid rental car so I wasn't pressed. Still I'm disabled and the stress exasperated my illness. Now , the initial repair also was substandard as the bumper popped out when I pushed on it and the hatch sheet metal collapsed in from damage. These two things were serious problems and I had to leave car for another week to repair correctly. However, the final end result was solid. The paint was spot on and the car looks great. 3 stars is generous.

I was in a car accident (an individual slammed into the drivers side of my car) and so his insurance company (progressive) sent me to Impex. I should have know from my initial experience with this place that it was not going to be a good one but I went ahead anyway because of the reviews, I wanted my car fixed ASAP, and because my adjuster stated this is where he get his car fixed. When I went to pick up my car it looked externally fixed (ok ), however when I drove it just a few feet my tire pressure light went on. I immediately turned around and went back to Impex and they put air in my tires. I thought it was the end of it. For the past month I have had to go 2x per week to put air in my tires. The back rear tire on the drivers side where my car was hit. I called them several times and Julio keep making excesses and not wanting to fix what they did to my car. He keep saying that I must have done it when i drove it the few feet I did -- What?!! I did it really. Full of excuses and little to no solutions-not only that I am unable to make a U turns without my steering wheel locking and my car making this awful squeal. This is the most DISHONEST and UNDER HANDED place I've ever been to. I don't know if the other reviews are paid because my experience was not a 5 star experience, it wasn't even a half star. I WILL NEVER EVER REFER ANYONE HERE

Three months after purchasing my new 2013 Nissan Sentra, I was unfortunately in an accident that caused extensive damage to my passenger side and rear axle. Being that the Firkins Dealership has a Nissan Certified Collision Center, it was a natural thought to have it repaired there. After about three months of my car being in the shop and me being in a rental that is in no way comparable to my own car, I am told that my car is ready, so my brother (a former auto body detailer and lifelong car enthusiast) and I go to pick it up. Unfortunately as we had dreaded, our standards were not met with multiple small cosmetic details that should not be apparent on a brand new car. Parts were ordered and I was sent on my way with my car with an appointment in the near future to have them taken care of. That evening my car died and would not start in my driveway. Missing work, the next day I had the car towed back to the body shop to be looked at. They can not explain what happened and essentially blame it on the staff at the Nissan Dealership for doing something wrong while checking a computer code, and now all of the sudden I need a new fuel pump. Another month of waiting for the part to arrive, during which I paid an unexpected visit to the shop to see how things were going. I was previously told that all the cosmetic issues we had discussed had been complete and we were only waiting for the pump. When I arrived not only were barely any of the cosmetic issues dealt with and it seemed as though my car had been sitting in the same spot the whole time, I also happened to find a rusty razor blade stuck to the top of my new car with a large rust spot around it. Miraculously, after my visit that friday, the part is in and my car is ready for me to pick up on wednesday. All seems well except for yet another cosmetic detail that was not present the last time I saw my car that is scheduled to be dealt with within the next few weeks which meant I would have to yet again inconve
