Differential repair service near Tampa, FL

I finally found a good mechanic in Tampa! Since I've been in, this business has bent over backwards to help me get my AC running. I've never recommended a mechanic before, because I couldn't. My car stayed several days in that workshop and when I looked for it and arrived at my house it gave me the same problem again, which was supposedly fixed .... I paid for pleasure, I threw away my money that day... Terrible experience

My "vintage" Class A diesel motorhome has toured beautiful North America from Key West to Fairbanks and Cabo San Lucas to Halifax. I rely on Preventive Maintenance Service to keep the old rig reliable and roadworthy when home in St. Pete. On this year's trip to the Pacific Northwest, one of the Suburban furnaces quit working. Two different service centers in that area worked on it. One didn't have a clue what was wrong. The other gave the furnace Last Rites and wanted to sell me a new one. Once home, the folks at PMS checked it out and found a defective wire which they immediately repaired. The unit works like new. I highly recommend PMS for any of your motorhome/RV maintenance needs. The owner of CTC Transmission Chris was GREAT! Called Late on a Saturday Night, Came out with in a 1hr, Saved me money on a Tow, got me back and on the road. Honest, Fair pricing and saves me money by coming out to me. I now have them Maintain our Fleet.

Company refuses to honor it's warranty. Their mechanic improperly installed a transmission and they charged to fix his errors. I recently brought in a friend's Nissan Altima to have the transmission replaced and had it charged to my AAMCO Credit Card account. After picking the picking up the auto, the starter made a grinding noise when attempting to start the vehicle. Believing this to be a separate problem I took it to my regular mechanic. He stated that the problem was the screw in the transmission mounting was improperly installed and was causing damage to the starter. We had the car towed to their shop. The manager "Charlie" informed us that since another mechanic looked at the vehicle they would not honor the warranty. This is unacceptable because without having a third party inspect the vehicle how would they be found at fault. It is all around bad business to allow your employees to perform substandard work, and even worse practice not to fix the problem when it does occur.I currently have an open complaint with the better business bureau about the matter.

WOW These guys are awesome! Their honesty and troubleshooting skills puts them over the top. I'm a 28 year Aviation Industry veteran and would highly recommend Transbuilt Transmission. I appreciate and know good mechanics when I see them. My Jeep Grand Cherokee had transmission related problems along with other electrical issues. Their diagnostics led them to an electrical module that was interfering with the vehicles communication data bus. They were honest about their findings and were very effective in the repair. i price checked 3 different shops and absolute auto had the best price service was great very nice pepole i would reccomend them 2 any1 very very happy with the fast service

They Had our vehicle for over 1 month. Was told every other day it would be done. They said they fixed the transmission problem & then wasn't fixed. A dollar was stolen from our center console, Mcdonald cup in the cup holder. & then when supposedly the transmission was fixed the spark plug blew out of the engine on their test drive. We Were told it was fixed, drove it 2 blocks & was making loud noises, supposedly spark plug shot out again. Picked up again the next day because it was supposed to be fixed & same thing happened. I pulled out the coil pack & they didn't even replace it, instead they cemented it onto the engine block. Spark plug wasn't re-threaded like they said they were going to. There was also glue on the plug as well. When my wife attempted to talk with the owner about their shotty work the owner yelled and cursed at her & told her to get off his property. We were just asking for part of the money back from the spark plug issue they failed to fix.
