This is a Mom and Pop auto repair shop. Mom, Judy and Pop, Jerry run a well oiled machine here. I am an experienced mechanic and they do all my repairs on my 2012 Odyssey. You need an appointment and it takes a few days to get your car in but the work is spot on. Judy manages the work flow and Jerry does the hands on. Very fair and professional work done on my cars over the past 5 years.

I took Minivan in there to have A/C compressor replaced along w/ fan belt, Evaporator, Dryer, and have system recharged. They charged me $920.00 and not only didn't fix the problem, but broke my actuator for recirc door and refused to replace it. They obfuscated, talked in circles and would not and did not stand behind their work. In fact, they tried to charge another $1k dollars to get the A/C in working order. After they fleeced me and stole my money I learned that A/C Compressor Kits are available for about $150 dollars for this vehicle (and all vehicles) and my labor to install this was $250.00 Our family now has A/C in the van for the 1st time since Ice Cold Air couldn't do the work of replacing an A/C compressor kit.

9/9/17. My daughter trying to decide to leave Tampa got some bad gas and is broke down. I called from Pensacola Fl. and Pernell answered and said he would go see what he can do. I pray for him and my daughter. Time is running out. I wait to hear from him. I pray he can get her car running.

My daughter's truck broke down while at USF and Robert from RJL repaired it quickly for very reasonable cost. I live a few hours from Tampa, so I called him after finding his shop on this website. He even offered to tow her truck if it couldn't make it to the shop. He was honest and only repaired what was broke and did not try to con her into anything more. Thanks Robert, I'll refer all the USF parents I know to your shop from now on.

I searched everywhere to find someone I could trust. Tons of questions and costs for things to be repaired or replaced. All this was because of a prior visits to another place who just looked at it and told me it needed a new transmission. When I finally contacted Engines and Transmission I felt by just talking to them I was at the place I needed to be. They took the time to answer questions, they picked up my vehicle, they called me at different steps to inform me of what they found. I went from thinking that I was going to have to replace/rebuild my transmission to items that were done in a much faster time and what was really needed. Living on a budget and worried about the cost...........I can not thank them enough for being so helpful, kind and considerate. I will return for checkups on a vehicle I had only had for 5 months and knew nothing about - but now I do. To everyone at Engines and Transmission but especially Ashley, Kate and Jason.. To Ashley Butler of 410 S.Dale Maybry ICE COLD AIR discount auto repair shop. I would just like to say how well she runs her bussiness and cares about her customers. I had a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder with a blown motor so I purchased one from a company that sells used motors and had Ice Cold Air do the installation,The can very goord for a month and then a feantw minnor problems occ likelyured, like an antifreeze leak which Ice Cold Air attemped to fix each time I had the car brought back. Then I had an oil leak which was most likely coming from the rear main seal which meant dropping the transmission which is a big job. So the reason I am writting this retraction is because I bad mouth her shop about not fixing the leaks when the car was brought back which ICE COLD AIR did every time the car was brought back and the oil leak I can ubderstand 10 hours of labor which the manager said if it's the rear main seal he would reimburst me for the labor. When my x-wife brought the car back to ICA cause she saw oil and antifreeze kind of leaking together and the manager tells her she needs to leave the car or it might cause more problems, you leave the car and not say I can't cause I need itthen;s your on your own if something like over heating occures and the motor seizes then it's notthe fault of the repair shop it's your fault. See I didn't know my X bruoght the car back for that problem and she was afraid to call and tell me this or my son and le Coldet my son drive 40 miles the next day I would of told her to leave the car right there and this never would of happened. To Ashley Butler I'm sorry I wrote the thing's I did about Ice Cold Air and only can say that Ashley Butler of ICE COLD AIR at 410 S.Dale Maybry runs a trust worthly repair shop and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone to go there for any type of repair work and I hope this can be posted for bad mouthing your bussiness for not knowing the facts.
