Took my car to have evaluated. I was told that my engine was bad and needed to be replaced. He said he would be swapp my engine out with a engine close to the same miles I had on my car. So I agreed to have my engine changed. This would have been a good time to tell me that it's only 30 days on a used engine. but he did not disclose this information to me. He went and got the car emissions done and told me he had been driving my car and it was running fine. Two days later and paying 4081.00 I pick my car up it seemed fine. I wasn't able to test drive the car because of Covid the DMV was closed. so it was close to three months until I was able to get a tag for car. I finally got the tag and drove the car, I noticed a pull from the car when I put the car in drive, it snatched into gear. I took car back and the mechanic RL adjusted something on the engine so that took care of the problelm. Still didn't informe me about 30 days for a used engine. I drove the car for two weeks and the car is surging and smoking from the tail pipe. I call R.L to tell him what's going on. He says bring the car in. I had a video of what was going on with the car. I informed R.L I got advice from another mechanic and was told this is because coolant is getting into the engine which point to a bad head gasket, and the surging could possibly be the air intake control valve and the problem was engine related Which R.L agreed that it probably was the IAC and he would have fixed it "IF" he knew it was bad He then suggested put 20 w 50 in the engine. I called another mechanic and told them what my car was doing and what advice I was giving from RL. And was told to ask for the paper work on the engine. I have not received no information on the engine he installed in my car to this very day. And putting 20 w 50 was not going to solve my issue. So I take the car back because of the surging and mind you it's still smoking. I also was getting water in the trunk so R.L looked into these issued and charged me 80.00.I was told by R.L that my Power steering rack need replacing and he would fix my IAC for aprox 1100.00 dollars. This has been the worst experince with this shop. My car is sitting unable to drive. I gave him ONE star because a rating was required. He deserves 0 stars. We'll end up in court I'm sure.

The technicians at Athens are very knowledgeable and informative, I have been going there for the past 4 years and have taken all of my vehicles to Nick and his team. A friend of mine recommended Nicks Wrenches to me. Said he was the best and honest too. I had a 1994 Toyota 4Runner in need of repair. It was constantly running hot and I couldn't take it anywhere without carrying a jug of water with me. I didn't have much money so I kept putting having it repaired off. Finally, I broke down and called Nick. I took it to him and got a sense that he was indeed an honest man, hard to find now days in the mechanic field. Not only is he honest, but he knows a heck of a lot about cars. He ended up having to replace my radiator and a few other things. It ran great after that and I felt he gave me a very fair price. After that, with my SUV being so old, I kept having to take it back for other various repairs. The last time I drove that SUV was when I took my ex husband to the airport. He was moving to San Francisco. On the way back, my SUV broke down. Nick had someone tow it to his shop. I forgot what it was this time but he repaired it. When pulling out of his shop, my brake line broke. This was the end of my beloved 4Runner. Nick was in the process of re constructing the brake line when he told me it was best if I sell it because it was starting to be one thing after another. I took his advice. Nick let me keep my truck at his shop until it sold. He also lent me a car he had that he occasionally lent out to customers so I could get back and forth to work. My truck finally sold. I will be forever grateful to Nick and all he did to help me. I have a new car now, but I know if I ever need any work done, he's the one I want working on my car. Thank you Nick for all that you did to help me. I will always be grateful!!

Well my battery went out so 1st I have to get an special battery for it 2nd I have to recoded the car Dealership doesn't even know what kind of battery do I need so. I worked close to Wendt motors always seen the place but never stopped to check out so I went there Mr Pete very kindly helped me and he told me what are the things that I have to do it need to get done to the car, he recoded the battery so now no lights on??? He also contacted warranty cuz I needed turbos replaced so didn't work cuz supposedly,my warranty doesn't cover all that but still my bimmer runs like new so I ll save up $$$ to replace them at Wendt motors very professional & specialist on bmw so that's my place

During a huge storm the wipers on my BMW X5 stopped working an hour away from home. I saw the sign for Car Tech and pulled in. The owner and his assistant dropped what they were doing and came over to assist me. I thought I had blown a fuse but they quickly identified the problem as a blocked wiper linkage and took the cowling off and fixed it. Within 15 minutes I was back on the road. I have never had a BMW dealer show this amount of expertise or professionalism and although they are an hour away, I will return for work and service on both my BMWs. Amazing service and kindness

Seriously, the owner is as sincere and kind as it gets while looking to save you cash on parts and etc. And he knows what he's doing cuz after an 800 mile roadtrip the day after fixing my brakes, I'm alive with A/C so crisp and cool..! The car never felt that good even when purchased and maintained at the dealer. I tried this place for the first time and it was probably the best decision.

brought my 92 e30 in it on oct 2018 and they did absolutely no work..quoted me 5000 with 1200 deposit in jan 2019. The quote had things that have already been replaced like ac compressor and and a headgasket that has no miles on it because i changed it my self before i brought it in .. I trimmed the quote down to 1400 and the deposit was 500 i thought that is pretty high...but i paid it..against my better judgement because i could feel the racist mentality when i came into the shop to talk about the repairs to my car in nov 2018 .i believe since they couldn't prey on an uninformed black car owner they chose to let my car sit for 2 months and when i called for an update on feb 13, 2019, they informed me that its best to come get my car and that they haven't done any work
