They support my older car nd give me real options on how to proceed when I need to choose the best repair options. I can't say enough good things about the Great service they offer every time I am in. Paul has always helped me and they work hard to get me in and out quickly with a loaner car option (I dont even see that with the dealer any more)! You won't be sorry you called them.

My van was serviced here after noticing that my tire seemed flat. I arrived with no appointment and with two toddlers tagging along. Employees were very courteous and helpful. Rating on Carx, Schaumburg, IL: Poor Diagnosis, Manager is very rude and no guarantee to the parts and labor even if the same problem occurs in next two days. Please don't go to this shop, If you get check engine signal. actually I could rate this shop zero star. Now a days These CARX guys are cheating customers. The manager Bill always gives high bill. Don't believe their free diagnosis test. They don't find real problem, rather they fix some thing and if the problem comes back again even in next couple of days, they don't help on that. Here is my story. I have been going through this CARX shop for since last 4 years. In the year 2008 and 2009 this CARX mufflers were really good. They always help to customers to fix the car problems with less price and with 99% guarantee on the work they did. After this new manager name Bill came into Schaumburg, CARX, this shop became like cheaters shop. Recently I took my Toyota corolla car to fix check engine signal. they did diagnosis and said code P0171, that means exhaust or lean engine problem..blah..blah. Then I told them, I will come back in 2 days and I did same. I dropped my car to fix check engine signal, This time different mechanic in same CARX and he said he saw different code with computer and replaces throttle sensor and other...and they gave me bill $588 for check signal ($330) and AC recharge. ($158). After I drove 50 miles, check engine light came back. I took car to CARX again. now this same mechanic who repaired it said that he is saying code PO171 that is the same one their other mechanic told very first time. This guy did something again and said fixed. After I drove 25 miles, check engine signal came back. I called manager Bill for same. He told that his mechanic is out of town and he asked me to comeback after 2 weeks. Then I took my car to carx on 08/12/11 friday, This time mechanic is there. Now the drama started. They simply said that, they can't determine which is causing PO1

*the mechanic lies, and the store manager is very rude* I had a fuel filter replaced at Woodfield Schaumburg Firestone, and I asked the mechanic if he replaced the plastic clips that hold the lines in place. He said both clips were replaced with new clips. I got my car back and inspected it myself. One of the clips looked old. A couple days later I went to a different firestone and asked them to check it. They confirmed it was an old (original) clip, so they changed it for me real quick (nothing had to be taken apart, it was very easy). Everything was rechecked, and the car returned to me (no charge). I contacted the manager at the Schaumburg location to discuss my concerns about being lied to by his mechanic, and the manager became defensive and rude. I went to the Schaumburg store, and the manager would not even meet/talk with me. So I spoke to the only remaining mechanic at Schaumburg that I like/trust and explained everything to him... gave him the clip, and asked him to show it to the manager since he wouldn't talk to me. This whole experience was very upsetting. Me, my brother, parents, 1 neighbor, and any friends I referred to them in the past will not be going to the Schaumburg firestone anymore. All they had to do was tell me they reused a clip (not lie), or get a new clip (less than $1). They lost at least 5 customers for lying about a cheap plastic clip and of course the rude customer treatment. I was a customer for over 3 years. This was my 3rd and last bad experience with the Woodfield Schaumburg location. In my personal opinion, if you value your vehicle... do not go to this shop.

I had to drive a trailer loaded with kid's suitcase's from my church over 65 miles on the highway to a camp in Indiana, leave it there and pick it up the following Mon. I brought my truck to Firestone of Lisle, Il on 2/11/2016 to have them check and repair the trailer connections and wiring on my Ford truck. I was told that they can do that. I told them to just replace everything. When I picked up the truck they had spliced a new 3 pin connection to the old wiring and left it dangling (not secured to the truck). The other, round connection, was not replaced. They told me they cleaned it up and that it should work. When I connected the trailer to the truck at about 4:00pm, the lights on the trailer did not work. I called Firestone and asked if I could bring it back and was told that there was no one available. I went to another place to try to get it fixed but they were closed by the time I got there at 5:00pm. I had no choice but to drive the trailer with no brake, turn, etc. lights over 65 miles in the dark. The trailer was big enough to prevent anyone from seeing the lights on my truck. I had to go pick up the trailer that Mon. and did not want to take another chance driving on the highway with no lights, so on Sun morning at 11:30 when I should have been serving at my church for services, I went to Farm and Fleet in Montgomery, IL and they replaced everything, mounted it correctly and made sure all the lights worked. I did not want to take a chance of another poor job from Firestone. Those lights are very, very important. Firestone charged me $139 and did not repair the issues. Farm and Fleet charged my $60 and corrected all issues. Firestone refuses to refund my money but instead want to issue me store credit. Why would I want to trust them to work on my truck again? On another occasion, they damaged my dash board. They didn't say anything and left it for me to find. They said they would clean it but when I went back, it was not cleaned, but I needed the truck so I agreed to bring it back another day. Once again, it was not fully repaired and I was told to bring it back another day. While discussing the trailer issues with a rep from Firestone, he implied that I was lying about everything.

Knowledgeable mechanic , courteous service, and very reasonable priced, there price was 35% cheaper than , Midas, Meineke , and Firestone .If you have a problem with your car that's the place to go . Bill

Picked up a coupon from Groupon that included free oil changes. I went in expecting to be met with a cold shoulder and a hurry-up-and-get-this-guy-out-of-here feeling. I was wrong. I came in and was greeted right away by the owner himself. While I was waiting on my car to receive an oil change the owner sat with my girlfriend and I for a good 15 minutes talking to us and making sure everything was going well while explaining his business and passion for good service. The oil change was done in a timely manner and everything went smoothly. There was not even a hint of upselling and I never felt uncomfortable while there. I live in Schaumburg and this is a little bit of a drive just for an oil change but now that I have been there once I don't think I will go anywhere else for future service of my vehicle. The entire management and floor team there were very professional and friendly. It is also located in an easily accessible location and well-kept neighborhood. I am going back this Saturday for another oil change and I look forward to speaking with the owner again to let him know what I think of his business. As a new resident to Illinois I am happy to know I have found a trustworthy auto business.
