I took my ML 350 due to a problem with the Engine. The drive chain had broken. The dealer's recommendation was to repair and cost was something of buying another car! So, I took to Dupage Auto Werks. The recommendation is to replace the 118K miles engine with a much lower engine. They shopped and found a fimilar engine and practically did a 'Engine Transplantation'! Now that I have an engine not only has a lower mileage, but also was cheaper overall. Very satisfied with them to have suggested and able to get my car worth somehting that I can keep it a much longer time!

The are the most professional, reliable and honest people in town. I my many years of dealing with different mechanics and tradesmen alike not one even comes close. Matt and the rest of the staff are friendly, caring and most importantly honest in meeting your needs without overselling or over inflating their prices. The guys at Foreign Car Clinic did a great job on my repair. I brought them a 2004 BMW M3 with a broken variable valve timing (VANOS) unit. When the unit gave out, multiple bolts broke off into the camshaft. The mechanic at Foreign Car clinic was able to extract the bolts salvage the camshaft. This was a complex repair and it could have cost me a lot more if it wasn't for their skill in fixing the problem.

Great service, very accomodating, trustworthy, on time and reasonable. The staff was very helpful and informative--It was a great experience and I plan to come back for each car service that I will need in the future!!!!

I highly recommend Steve and crew for repairing your Audi (and other makes). After a long search for repairing my car, Steve was very helpful over the phone without even seeing the car. He gave me an honest opinion and range or repair cost - again, without seeing the car. I brought it in and he repaired it and a couple other things he found that were related. When I came to pick the car up, he noticed another issue when pulling it up for me. He brought it right back in the garage and let me borrow his car while they made this additional repair. I was not charged for this, as Steve took responsibility for it. Honesty and fair pricing is difficult to find, especially with cars that are expensive to fix, and I'm thrilled I've landed at a place I can trust and use moving forward. Alternator took a dump, found this mechanic shop in Plainfield, IL, near me, towed it in and bam got lucky left 3 hours later. This Plainfield auto repair shop is on top of their game. Thanks for getting me in and back on the road so quick and cost effectively.
