5 starI was fortunate to spend Spring Break at Disney with my 3 boys along with my dad and Diane. Got to see fellow Kankakee County people there as the Marching Boilers marched in a parade at the Magic Kingdom and had a super great time. On our way back, apparently due to shotty work done during an oil change here, my mini van had some problems and my boys and I were stuck in Mt Vernon Illinois yesterday not sure we would make it home today or even by Monday. I was given a name, David Parker, owner of Parker Automotive, in Woodlawn IL just west of Mt Vernon on HWY 15. He made sure our van was brought out to him and stayed late on Good Friday to let me know what was wrong. Luckily it is nothing major, just something that occurred during my oil change here. David showed the true meaning of Easter. This morning looking at being stuck in a hotel room til Monday, he lent me a car to drive us back so we can be home for Easter. I want to thank everyone at North Belt automotive for doing a great job on my car. They were really fast and professional I brought my car into the shop at 4:40pm Friday(the shop closes at 5). They allowed me to wait inside with my toddler son until my ride came, which unfortunately was running late. They called me by 11:30 Saturday evening. Great people work here. I took in an old 1972 351C block because of some stuck bolts I couldn't get with my tools at home. They got it off with no problem, they didn't charge me for anything. I had planned on paying for the use of the tool and a few minutes but they wouldnt let me. Definitely where I am taking my business from now on.
