On the morning of 7/28/2020, my family and I visited this location. As we approached the cashier (an Indian gentleman) informed us that "We do not take food stamps." Startled, my wife responded and assured him that we will not be using food stamps. We have a debit card.

This was highly offensive as we are a Black family. My wife has a master's degree and is a teacher and I have a PhD and am a college professor. To assume that we are on welfare because we are Black was racist. We did not cause a scene. We just paid for our items and left. 

This store/corporation needs to train its staff on racial matters. We will never visit this location again.
